See, I think they're setting it up where Komatsu is like the "peaceful" side of things.

They've already explained how ingredients speak to him, so maybe when he gets high enough level as a cook he can walk into the Gourmet World and all the giant monsters will just be like "Please eat me".

But yea, I too just noticed Komatsu's weak physique.

But I think Komatsu's special power is "Ingredient Words" and "Food Luck"

Where it grants him superior Luck so he doesn't get hurt at all.

toriko is one of the good ongoing series right now. probably really underrated everywhere except japan

it's actually a good story and best thing about it is that it is a unique story and adventurous.

looking forward to the one piece - toriko crossover next week

oh and i don't know what to say about this season of anime. don't know what to pick up to watch

gonna miss last season , natsume/gintama/bakuman/mirai nikki/another

so many good shows of different genre. this season isn't very promising

Anyone know what song it is that plays when Knocking Master Jirou uses his Intimidation on the King Lander + Asura Tiger?

It has played several times before in the anime but I can't seem to find it on the OST.

And I loved it that they're using the new looks of Luffy Team, tho Toriko Team is still using the old looks (following the anime)

Melk the second sounds like a girl, looks like a girl, and bandages his/her body like a girl hiding her chest. I bet, he/she is a girl.

Well, at least I can expect Komatsu will have a level up by weilding a new knife made by Melk. He'll be able to cut through most things without any battle strength.

The new episode is very sweet. It looks like things are going to get really exciting soon. I always felt the stories in Toriko thus far have been tame and not eye-catching, but it looks like things are about to change.

It looks like Zebra, the 4th Heavenly King, will finally make his entrance now. He looks more powerful than all the other three Heavenly Kings combined.

I like Melk the 2nd's hair during the first half of the episode, but her hair at the end made her look a little like Rin, which is not as attractive. Either way, Komatsu, you won her heart, you lucky bastard. You should thank Toriko for that. Btw, I wonder if they will ever, ever show any romantic development for Toriko. It looks like he prefers to be single for life, and this series probably will not develop that aspect.

This new knife that Melk the 2nd is creating sounds really amazing. Komatsu should really level up with one of the ultimate knives of the world. Considering how powerful and sharp the spare knives in the shop were, this one should be quite devastating.

As for Melk the 1st creating a knife that takes many years to create, I am going to bet that it will eventually end up in Komatsu's hands.

No vibes, but Toriko has been trying to promote itself as the next One Piece since its inception. However, it has yet hit me emotionally like One Piece does on many occassions. At best, it has some nice shounen action so far.

If they had adapted Toriko with less filler characters then it would have been fine. The manga is already close to One Piece in awesomeness.

@first time I watched an epi....Zebra's first appearence? Damn, time to watch it, he is epic xD
