Itoshi no Karin
Just stumbled across the little gem of a manga and thought I'd draw other's attention to it - I kinda like the art, and the story thus far (only 4 chs. iirc) is enjoyable. Summary: " Meet Yutaka Hanagasaki, 20 years old and a gardener at the theme park Fuegaoka. Meet Merun-chan, the mascot of Fuegaoka, with lots of popularity. Hanagasaki just so happens to secretly like her, but he can never work up the courage to even talk to her, always admiring her from afar like a flower. A sweet story of how Hanagasaki works up the courage and becomes closer to Merun!" Well, I am enjoying the series so far. ^^

New chapter is out! ^^
And it's so adorable it makes me wanna squee like a crazed fangirl - I absolutely love cute, delicately sappy things like this. And the art style is especially engaging....

I think favorably disposed at least.
Series like these tend to depict growing feelings and dispositions pretty slowly, inch b inch, and striking the balance between trying to savor each inch of the way and not dragging it out is very tricky. Each author has their own pace that is natural to them, too. One of the things I like about this series so far is that it seems to have hit the "golden mean" - at least for me. So yeah, I think Karin does like him, but I kinda feel there will be more ground tread before that becomes full blown romance. In other words, yn excellent example of shoujo, but, like Golden Time, one in which the age spectrum is a little higher than normal. The male lead already has a full time job, after all. ^^

Such a cute chapter even though she was working all weekday she made time to come see him, seems she is quite interested in him at this point all the more she looked quite depressed by the fact that he will one day leave (don't think its anytime soon).

This is a great series, although it really is moving a lot faster than most series like this i'm used too reading.. I really like how Karin is so...FORWARD and not obnoxious shy... vs other lead female's of the same romance genera, it's really nice.
