Just find the character who you find most annoying or not particularly worth caring about, and put him or her at the front lines. When the battle starts, make sure to send that person forward in a blaze of glory.

l have gone back to the game and killed off every character that has died in the anime....since the anime is CANON....right? right?!??!

So thanks to the newly implemented Communist Regime in the forums our analysis will have to be solely positive. Therefore, we have four episodes left, what can they actually do with them?

23 - Ghirlandio and detonation? Insert touching scene between BFF Selvaria and Alicia remembering their past.

24 - Marmota attacks the capital?

25 - Valkof revealed and unleashed?

26 - Max defeated and Fabio gets his just deserts, The End?

The above seems possible, albeit rushed. It may even pull off a good ending.

However episode 22 seems to show a lack of haste so I don't see how it's possible for them to end up resolving everything they've left hanging... oh god. I said something negative! Someone save me quick! I-...

Looking at the preview it doesn't seem like there'll be much going on in episode 23 either. Hopefully they'll manage to pack Ghirlandio in that episode, but it's definitly going to be rushed.
The ending story is so going to be chopped off important parts.

Selveria being the kind of cutesy characters the anime staff likes to overshow she'll definitely get the screentime to go out with a bang.

No need to be positive in this thread. Relentlessflame doesn't come to impose his biased diktat here. He's too afraid to be spoiled, and to keep that fear there are easy means like Cordelia is a darcsen or other highly visual spoilers.

Actually, I don't see why the Princess's secret is so difficult to figure out. What is the one feature that makes Darcsens stand out, and what was the Princess doing with her hair? If one has no suspicions, then something is not quite right.

When I was playing to the game, I was thinking the princess was a Valkyria and in the anime, with her hair color, I can only think to her as a Valkyria.

I don't understand why Faldio didn't shout her in the anime, It was more logical than shooting Alicia.

I would be very disappointed if they tried to rush the ending. They might try to set it up for a second series, keeping the Imperial commanders alive and so on rather then end it now.

Just played through to chapter 9. Faldio really gets a small role so far, if I didn't watch the anime (and read the forums) I would have really though his just a bit character to be ignored.
But with Selvaria raping my troops in Ch 7 (multiple times) I guess I can understand why his seeking valkyria powers. But still, his role is greatly expanded in the anime, and I believe at the expense of the interaction and development of the personal in Squad 7.

Besides that, Isara seems more pro-active in the game, engaging Rosie in arguments about the Dressen, (ch 3) faking a report to keep the imps sleeping and noting the cooling system on Max's tank in ch 7.
And she's quite cute in the beach chapter too.
