I expected this to have some similarities to Bethesda's TES series, but I was surprised to find out this is nearly EXACTLY the same system as The Elder Scrolls. It's... basically retro-future Skyrim/Oblivion..... even including all the game-breaking bugs.

Well it's the same engine as Oblivion, so yeah. Same kind of flaws. If you haven't yet (and if they didn't come pre-installed with whatever version you got), you might want to see if you can track down the patches for the game: it's possible they might fix your issue. Or they might not. I don't think I've heard of that particular bug, although clipping issues are certainly one of the more common types of complaints with that engine.

They basically took the Real Time Settler and Powered Power Armor mods and put them in the actual game, lol. Now it no longer matters that Arcoolka (RTS develop) quit modding, the RTS concept was put in the base game.

I hope hardcore mode is still in.

Only problem I have with character creation is the way the characters keep moving around when you're trying to 'sculpt' and the fact you cant properly rotate the camera around, it annoyed me in other games that you cant turn the camera properly and just the head.

Too bad Fallout Shelter is iOS, you'd think developers would have learned by now to release mobile games on both at the same time, especiallya game tying into a franchise this loved.

I wish his games didn't take so long to come out, but one thing I can always count on is that when he does show up to show off whatever his team has been working on, I can count on it being something I'll love and will sink endless hours of my life into.

Then what would be the point of them letting you choose from 100's of names, the baby change to the parents looks?

When was the baby announced dead? I thought the story was gonna be him finding wife and child.

Think about it this way, the bomb exploded when they were outside of the vault, each vault has a set number of people it can admit, if your character wakes up (200 year in the future) in the vault he and his family were supposed to be in and he hasn't found them in it what makes you think another vault (as I mentioned space is limited to the list of that certain vault) would accept them in or that they would have enough time to reach another vault after the detonation which (considering the landscape) couldn't have been the only one, also take into account the nuclear fallout and the radioactivity it brings, also it's 200 years later, 200, think about that, unless the mc's partner also woke up around the same time and took the baby and just left the mc behind (a pretty big a-hole move) I don't see any reason for them to still be alive.

The game might start by the mc looking for his/her family (he just freaking woke up, so of course he is going to be in denial about them being gone) but the stakes are against them being alive right from the get go, also I'm sure there is more to the story than just looking for his wife and kid.

But this is Fallout, so who knows.

I bet one or both turn up in some kind of twisted form or dream sequence myself. The baby too much effort for a one time resource IMHO too.

This is quite amazing in pretty much every way (I wonder how the home creation feature will run on PS4/XBOX1). One quibble though, I hope you'll be able to have a same-sex marriage in the beginning, and not just the featured female/male we've seen.

Actually there is an Android version. It's just not out yet.

Doubtful considering the baby and the baby being a blend of both parents.... But there might be some options for same gender romances latter on.
