I just got a theory that may be wrong, so I am really asking for conformation from novel readers...

Garcia got his Japanese Warlord historical title revoked because he lost too many times. The issue is that his marriage to Gin is directly tied to the fact that they are roleplaying the historical Tachibana couple. Him losing the name means he could lose the right to be Gin's husband. And since we expect Gin's attempt to defeat the Horizon crew to fail, the only way the two of them can stay together is to elope and run away from the Testament Union.

I finally got myself to read volume 2 just because I wanted to find out what happened as well. So far, I'm still in the first few chapters. It's frustrating that I'm unable to breeze through the novel unlike any other LNs. There are too many things to digest to advance.

You're right about the bold part. I have a confirmation of it in the novel.

I'm not sure if it was mentioned in the the last episode of season 1. Someone will be replacing Muneshige's name. What Gin is saying in that line, is that her husband will soon become a stranger to her, and his position will be replaced by another person who will succeed the name (ie, Gin will have a different husband).

I just finished reading Volume 2A (in 2 days). While the first half is mainly fighting (vs. Tres Espana followed by vs. England), the second half is full of politics until it gets to the end which is fighting. They pretty much focused on England here so I still haven't find out why Muneshige and Gin... (intentionally omitted)

The plot is rich in this part but I couldn't absorb everything in the first run but I'm still satisfied regardless. According to Kawakami's storytelling trend, this is just a preparatory part for something bigger as the last part is always better (proven in the anime: Episodes 6-13(1B) > 1-5(1A)). If the first part satisfied me, I imagine the last part will make me hype. Anyway, I have no plan to start 2B after I have reread 2A for a couple more times.

On another note. Tenzou is an awesome character in this volume. Nate even wonders why he couldn't have a girlfriend until now.

While the European nations, with their adamant Catholicism, condemns same-sex relations, I don’t believe the Far East (i.e. Japan) had anything of the sort.

The only “making out” scene depicted explicitly in the first two novels is the one directly after the battle against the God of War, and that was only a brief one-line side-comment, though the anime does dwell on it for quite a bit (fanservice I suppose). Likewise, the cuddling scene was only a single line in the novels as well.

Infodump-sensei, you should add this because I believe this skit will be axed in the anime in next season! XD

Futayo said in the end of 4C volume that she would try to get the name of Honda Tadakatsu, so it's safe to say that this one will turn to be true in the next volumes.

In Noriki's case the closest wouldn't be Toku Hime? Because he was born as a guy and not as a girl he didn't get the chance to have the name of this princess (姫) and that's why he boarded (乗) Musashi. Plus the fact that Houjou Ujinao was very important in the life of that princess

I don't know what Malga is thinking there, I guess she just slipped her mouth. But the damn witch is so astute not to tell Azuma the truth about sex, so she can see Azuma's reaction next time and use that as a reference for her doujinshi manga.

Exactly what you think. It was just the beginning of the v2's "sex" joke that will spiral out of control and I also think will affect even Muneshige and Gin in later book (haven't seen that part in 2A yet). All of it started from Malga's subtle explanation.
