It's probably too early to show nell's 'true power' or whatever. I mean, the "invasion" has barely started. Pulling out her trump card so early dosent seem too appropriate. And ichigo unable to complete his first battle in LN alone and instead needing someone to save him would means that theres something seriously wrong o_O

Actually... this Las Noches arc is completely manga material except for some other extra scenes that were added in by the anime team. The movie should come out on 22/12 if im not wrong.

I must say it's a very interesting technique and I've always loved seeing Ichigo's bankai no matter how often it's uses and that sinister mask he wears even that he lookes so different when it's on.

I really liked this episode. I wish I could take a break for a year and download all the episodes at once and catch up cause waiting a whole week each week kills me

It was obvious that after Ichigo put on the vizard mask, Dordonii wouldn't last 2 seconds in the fight.One strike and he's out.And after the crushing defeat, what better way to add humiliation to injury like Nel vomiting all over Dordonii.

Not as such, there seems to be a bit more to the fight then shown in the manga but the action meshes well with the fight so it doesn't feel padded to me.
The mask was a bit off the teeth looked to large
Oh, and if Nel is the bug she calls herself she must be a cockroach cause she just ate an espada level cero like it was nothing and didn't seem to be that bad off after being hit with a second energy blast.

It's quite clear now how Nel has developed strong feelings for Ichigo. I mean Nel just took 2 direct ceros to protect him.And she went screaming crazy when he was getting beat up.Now that's love!
