According to this Kugimiya Rie the Queen of Tsunderes is going to voice Ace.

I always hear only one type of voice from her, so it sure already sounds pretty awkward to hear her voice come out of Cure Ace.

The voice suits her. Not the usual voice you would hear from Rie stundere mode.

Maybe it's possible that Regina's change at the time of the red crystal had less to do with the specific crystal and more to do with the evil inside Regina's heart. Perhaps the evil saw the red crystal as a thread and gave Regina an extra does of selfish.

However when all the crystals were gathered together and in the presence of Ange, they were able to "reduce" the evil in her heart. That being said, it's clear the evil hasn't been conquered yet

Assuming Ace really is a new character and there's not going to be some surprise plot twist later along the lines of "Manifestation", there are so many questions to ask in regard to Ace. Mostly in terms of the timing of her appearance.

She comes right after the crystals decide to do stuff. Either the crystals were seeking a candidate off screen and convinced her to become a cure just in time. Or Cure Ace is essentially one of those "Just Born" characters that skipped to the teenage years.

All I know is something odd is going on here with Ace. Especially given how the crystals seemed to be involved. There's also the fact we saw only one Precure in Trump Kingdom and Ange only sent three fairies to another world.

That would have lead me to think "Oh, Ace is just some other warrior of the trump kingdom, she and her fairy were just absent from battle or fighting in another location"

Yet the crystals complicate things. Are the crystals the reason she can transform? If so were they always the reason? Or have they perhaps replaced the original reason for her transformation?

All I know is we have several episodes of fun ahead of us. Seeing how long it takes to save Ange, how long it takes to save Regina, and how long it takes to figure out Ace. Never mind what type of mid-series plot revelation we may have here.

It's going to be hilarious if turns out that the Love Heart Arrow might actually be needed to weaken the evil in Regina's heart in order to save her. Speaking of which, I wonder if Regina's father will do things to lessen the chances of the Cures being able to weaken the evil.

At the end of the day it feels like we're having a classic case of "So Close and Yet So far" here.

I think there's something fishy about Joe. He took the princess with him to the place no one knows but him. What if he took some of the princess's ADN and use them to create a homunculus body. Then use the Crystals power to turn her into cure Ace. That's why she looks like the princess.
Btw, who's the girl next ep? Some random citizen or...

It's looking more and nire like the mystery with Cure Ace is not so much who she is. It also may be one of those cases where the audience is supposed to know before the cast does. My guess is the real mystery is in the timing of her appearance and the reasoning behind that timing.

Cure Ace out of the blue would be an interesting twist... but everything gets ruined by Regina, and not the character herself. Seriously, how many times there's need of an "external" force/event/whatever to make her bad again? Especially after all the time spent to show her bond with Mana. Toei really dropped the ball with Dokidoki. Also another villain coming? Was really needed?

Oi oi, not only BBA, but Kugimiya? Shakugan no BBA!?
Too much makeup (mainly lipstick), and what seems to be her civilian? form looks better, though she looks too much like Kaede from Suite Precure.

Anyways, Regina is starting to remind me of a chameleon because she changes colors so much, be it her eyes and now her outfit too.
But entering a new cour? New enemies and one new Precure.

To be honest, Regina shines most when she is an enemy.
King Houchuu clearly seems to have gone and brainwashed some girl into thinking she is his daughter, but still gotta laugh at him going "I'm sorry, forgive me"
Now if it turns out he really is her father and really cares for her, I'd be surprised for sure.
Oh, and Regina, I'm sure that isn't love, but a heart problem, so let's go to the hospital.

To me the poignant turn for this twenty-first episode was Cure Heart reconfirming her love as friends towards Regina, and latter feeling the throbbing inside her heart. That special moment of friendship greatly spiced by the adverse predicament that both girls found themselves into the Jikochuu's trap; sacrifice one girl for the other to be saved? Yeah, sure! Cure Heart refused such option in her watch.

I personally like Ace without the lipstick more and I do think Aguri is Ace because the guy leaked the image also said Aguri is going to be voiced by Kugimiya Rie.

Ultimately, the story seems to want to dive in the direction of trying to keep Regina safe from being manipulated by red crystals/janergy. I don't necessarily mind the concept, but I'm hoping the series doesn't just degenerate to moping over Regina for the next two quarters, especially when it'll be all four girls doing it and not just Mana.

Ace is revealed, but her appearance is kept short and will be officially completed next episode. It's looking to be this new character, which I find rather strange, as they're just pulling her out of the blue in the middle of the series. Based on appearances, I wouldn't be surprised if she was also from Trump Kingdom, like Makopi.

I wouldn't really say she's ever hit Lawful Good. She's not 100% opposed to evil, or at least that's what's been shown from her constantly forced mood swings. She falls more in line with Chaotic Good, if at all in the good spectrum, but is probably leaning more towards Chaotic Neutral.

I do feel realized that they won't turn Regina into a PreCure, as has already been done in the past with Setsuna (Fresh) and Siren (Suite).

Hopeful wishing she's turned more to a role like it was done for both Kaoru and Michiru in Splash*Star towards the end.
