Finished with another translummary for the drama CD, this time it's from the vol 1 of DVD/Blu-ray

The first one, since it involves Ayase and turns out pretty hilarious, I do a (almost) complete one, you can read it on my blog:

While the second one I only do a shorter summary, though I ended up do more detailed translation for Kyousuke and Kirino part on the second half

Spoiler for Me and My Little Sister Can't Have Love Talk on Bed:

- Take place not too long after Kirino came back to Japan from America.

- Kirino asked Kuroneko to come to her house for the first time after she came back from America, and so Kuroneko goes along with Kyousuke after school. Kirino acts like she’s irritated that Kuroneko and Kyousuke took long time but Kyousuke notices that she just hides her happiness and excitement that she can finally “show her collection” to Kuroneko, her best friend, in her house after awhile.

- They all go to the second floor lead by Kirino, but then Kuroneko does something that really tick Kirino off, that is Kuroneko opens and goes to Kyousuke room instead, nonchalantly, like she used to when Kirino was still on America.

- Kirino asks Kyousuke what’s the meaning of Kuroneko’s behavior and so Kyousuke tells Kuroneko that today they will play on Kirino’s room. Kirino asks Kyousuke again what he meant by “today”, and so Kuroneko explain her “clumsiness” because lately she always went to Kyousuke’s room when she came over. Kirino then kicks Kyousuke and asks his explanation of why he brought her best friend to his room when she wasn’t home.

- So Kirino can believes him, Kyousuke asks Kuroneko to explain it to her, but instead Kuroneko playfully tease the siblings, “Heee~y Kyou-chan, how do you think we should explain our relationship to Kirino-chan?♥”. Kyousuke retorts while Kirino gets angrier hearing Kuroneko calls Kyousuke “Kyou-chan”. Kyousuke then realizes Kuroneko was trying to imitate Manami and he says that instead of Manami, Kuroneko sounds more like her temptress character from her manga which Kuroneko replies with, “Thank you for your compliment, Kyou-chan♥ What’s wrong, your face is getting so red?♪”. Kyousuke thinks girl is a mysterious creature, he thinks that with that attitude Kuroneko will make guys misunderstand that she likes him. Kirino stops Kyousuke and Kuroneko’s comedy act and ask for their explanation.

- Kyousuke then explain that when Kirino is away, Saori and Kuroneko often came over to play in his room. Just when Kyousuke think it’s enough to clear the misunderstanding, Kirino gets angrier again with the fact Kyousuke invited two middle school girls to his room. Kyousuke then explain that Saori and Kuroneko came over just because they were worried he was lonely when Kirino was away. Kirino can’t talk back, but then she asks what’s the meaning of that, in which Kyousuke turns his head and see…..

- … Kuroneko is laying on his bed! Kuroneko asks, nonchalantly again, if Kyousuke and Kirino’s sibling fight hasn’t over yet because they’re making her sleepy. Kirino retorts and smacks Kuroneko, forcing Kuroneko away from Kyousuke’s bed. Kuroneko further teases Kirino why she’s bothered by her laying on Kyousuke’s bed when it’s not her bed and Kirino avoids the question, still angry that they should play on her room since she has came back. Kyousuke (thinks he) understand, that Kirino is jealous Kuroneko, her best friend, has been taken away by her older brother, in a sense of Kyousuke and Kuroneko had fun playing games when she was away. Kuroneko then counter attacks by tickling Kirino and make her laugh non-stop. Kyousuke is helpless to see his bed gets messed up by the only two best friends in the world who can get along by fighting.

- Later that day after Kuroneko comes home, Kirino is always laying over on Kyousuke’s bed, playing cellphone game. After awhile Kyousuke asks Kirino to get over from his bed.
“Kirino…. Kirino… Oi Kirino, are you listening?!”
“Tsk, you’re so noisy. What is it?”
“That’s my bed.”
“So?”
“Move away.”
“Don’t wanna.”
“Why?”
“No reason. It’s no problem, isn’t it?”
“I want to lay down.”
“I see. Then just do it on the floor.”
“(Kkkhu, this brat!!)… Sigh, what are you doing anyway.”
“Playing game. Can’t you see?”
“I know, my question is why did you came to my room and lay on my bed just to play a game?”
“Haaa? It’s fine, isn’t it.”
“Do it on your room.”
“D-O-N-T W-A-N-N-A! Really, you’re so noisy, don’t disturb me. And why is it okay if it’s the black one and it’s not okay if it’s me anyway, I don’t understand.”
“Why are you getting angry, I don’t understand you either.”
“I’m not angry.”
“Of course you are.”
“I told you I’m not! MO-RE IM-POR-TANT-LY, here!!”
“What is it?”
“You’re so slow, I told you to come here. You want to lay down, don’t you?”
“HAAAA?!!! Why?”
“Don’t be shy, it’s your own bed anyway.”
“I’m not shy!”
“Hmmm… Even though you could lay down and played games together with that black one, if it’s with me you can’t?”
“(Is she stupid, sigh what’s with this situation)”
“Senpai♥“
“HIII?!!”
“See, “Senpai!” Just come here and lay down already, want me to curse you to death?!!”
“MY JUNIOR ISN’T SOMETHING SCARY LIKE THAT!!! Aaargggh geez okay okay, I get it!”

Kyousuke then throws himself to his bed.

“Like this?”
“U-u-uwaa, aren’t you too close?”
“O-oh, my bad.”
“W-wait. When you did it with that black one, is it this close?”
“Heh? I guess?”
“Tsk! Then it’s okay with this distance, I give you my permission!”
“(Uwaah, what’s with her acting so high and mighty this whole time?)”
“Geez, what a pervert.”
“Sure sure, whatever.”
“So?”
“Hm?”
“W-when you were with the black one… W-what were you guys talking about?”
“Hmm… Normally it’s about the game we made.”
“Is that all?”
“What other topics do you think we supposed to talk?”
“I-I know…. Y-you’re not lying, aren’t you? Seriously?”
“I’m telling you the tru---- Ah, now you mention it we did talk about other thing, that one time we talked about you.”
“Hu-hueh? Y-you were talking about me?”

Kyousuke then reminisces the time when he teased Kuroneko, asking if she liked him which Kuroneko answered that she does like her as much as Kirino does.

“What did you mean by talking about me?”
“A-aah… Err… I-it’s…. Errr… Kirino, you… Do you like me?”
“He? H-HEEEEEEE?!!!!! W-what are you asking me so sudden?!!”
“Kuroneko said that she likes me as much as you do, you know.”
“S-she really said that?”
“Yeah.”
“So… Is that the reason with the weird call from before, when you asked me if I like you?”
“Y-yeah…”
“I see. You really look like an idiot!”
“Shut up. So, your answer is?”
“You should ask for her straight answer yourself stuuu~pid. Stupid idiot idiot, idiot idiot idiot, idioo~t!!”
“Okay okay, I get it. I was just curios, just forget it.”
“But since we’re here anyway, let me answer it for you.”
“Hm, ooh?!”
“What are you expecting of, off course I REALLY HATE you. So that makes the black one also hate you as much as I am♪”
“Huh? Heheh, I see. Thanks for telling me.”
“W-why are you laughing? So creepy!!”

At that point, Kyousuke thinks the usual, “My little sister can’t be this cute.”.

At least we've seen how Sakurai looks in the anime........ Albeit on the SD design

I just got it and I somehow feel both afraid and excited to check it out. I doubt there will be anything new and unexpected. We'd know already if that were the case.

Volume 8 (BD Oreimo s2), episode 15 and 16 no new scenes (as expected). The interesting part is the special (animated like a visual novel), it's aprox 44 min. And i'ts full of cute Kirino moments:

they are Chapter 2 and 3 from the Vol12 of the Novel, the parts they skipped in the anime aka Ayase and Kuroneko

Just heard the Ayase part. It's quite interesting. There are more parts that I didn't get so I don't have the confidence to write the detailed summary.

- The title is "White Lies and My First Love".

- From Ayase PoV, not the usual Kyousuke PoV, Ayase is the narrator on this one. Telling the beginning when she started taking care of Kyousuke, the part anime didn't cover, and the part just before she confessed to Kyousuke.

- At first she still acts (or to be more precise, sound) tsundere, telling listener that she agreed to take care of Kyousuke just because her beloved Kirino begged her to. But on the first day she's on the way to Kyousuke's apartment she was actually humming, meaning she is actually happy she has to take care of Kyousuke.

- When Kyousuke first came home and Ayase greeted him, Ayase told she feels like they are newlywed and again, sounds happy about it but then she immediately retorts herself that she shouldn't be thinking like that when she hates Kyousuke.

- The first part is about when Ayase found out Kyousuke's porn magazine collection, which Kyousuke put along with gravure magazines that have Ayase on it. Kyousuke told Ayase is misunderstanding because he bought the magazine because Kirino is on it, which Ayase retorts it was worse. Ayase narrates that she's actually enjoy teasing Kyousuke and wants to see more of his crying/helpless face.

- The second part is when Ayase's doing the laundry while Kyousuke's studying on library. Ayase found Kyousuke's shirt and just when she's about to sniff it (or was it just embrace, I kinda forgot ) the laundry machine spook her out. She then realized Kyousuke's underwear wasn't there, and thus (for whatever reason, I kinda think this one is kinda out of character for Ayase ) she search the entire house for Kyousuke's underwear. Just when she found some and hold it, Kyousuke came home, and so ensues the reverse of the usual situation, where Kyousuke's acting like sexual harassment victim and Ayase's trying to explain the misunderstanding. It always funny when Kyousuke's the one telling "Tsuuhou shimasu yo!!", plus Nakamura Yuuichi scream like a little girl when Ayase's stripping him forcefully was hilarious. The part ends when Ayase almost succeed to strip Kyousuke and then Kanako came to Kyousuke's apartment, because she wanted to give Kyousuke another of her home-made lunch box, saw the chaos and then called Kirino to inform her the situation and tease Ayase.

- The last bit is about Ayase's narration that she really enjoy the days she's taking care of Kyousuke, and then telling the listener that for her Kyousuke almost didn't change at all when they first met, that he was a pervert, lewd, siscon, lolicon, etc etc but also the kindest man and admit he was her first love. After all this time Kyousuke helped Ayase with his white lies, Ayase told the listener that now it's her turn to help Kyousuke by telling him her white lie. Most probably, if not obviously, when she told him that she hates him.

Yeah, that was hilarious. Laughed quite a bit when I was translating that part, glad it got its drama CD part.

Sidenote: I didn't notice at all that the ending of episode 11 (where Kirino misses Kyousuke and tumbles onto his bed) was sung by Satomi Satou.

I just finished watching these two last special episodes. The Oreimo Portable/VN looks is quite nice, kinda making me hoping they do the reverse, making full special episode of routes from the Portable & P Tsudzuku games

Though it's animated like VN, but it's (could) actually (be) canon since this story took place when Kyousuke and Kirino is "on relationship" before they graduated, first story took place on New Year, and second one was Valentine's Day; so yeah, there's quite many dere Kirino moments (this would probably the deadliest one) though she was still tsun/cheeky most of the time.

And Sakurai Akemi got many screentimes here too (wearing her bear pajamas), and she was so great with her hilarious interactions with Kyousuke and Kirino. Raised question for me though, I probably miss something either from special contents that I may miss, or most probably from light novel since I didn't actually read the complete story, but Akemi and Kirino knows each other already, Akemi gets along with the Kousaka sibling where she constatly suggesting her date plan to Kyousuke to get him to be her boyfriend and Kirino doesn't actually bothered with her, in fact Kirino actually praised and hyped with some of Akemi's date plans that sounds like an godly eroge Kirino probably doesn't take Akemi seriously as her love rival (they made fun of each other by the way; Kirino called Akemi grandma since she's already in the 3rd year of high school and Akemi called Kirino brocon) since she knows Kyousuke is huge siscon and likes her the most now after the confession and proposal?

My favorite moment this last special would be the Akemi's 2nd Valentine's Day Date Plan.

Ak: "Imagine this, on the Valentine's Day you wake up and find a huge gift box on your room, what would you do?"
Ky: "I'll leave it there since it's suspicious."
Ak: "HUU~H? PEOPLE WOULD OBVIOUSLY TRY TO OPEN IT, WOULDN'T THEY NORMALLY?"
Ky: "It's dangerous, so I'll probably call my dad and ask him to open it for me."
Ak: "PLEASE DON'T!! IF YOU DO THAT SOMEONE WILL DIE! AND THAT SOMEONE WILL BE ME!!"

So yeah, like you can guess, Akemi's plan here is she's the Valentine's Day gift herself, which made Kirino went crazy and praised Akemi to come up with it

The vol 7 special episode was the usual SD-character commentary, where Kyousuke revealed that the producer of the series was worried that the crew spent too much money making the special contents (like making SD sprites of minor characters like the Game Club guys or Rin which didn't appear that often). Kyousuke also mentioned that they obviously ripped-off certain series (referring to SAO) with the Dragon Fantasy Online like how's the protagonist only has different hair color compared to the original, and Kirino blurted out Asuna name explicitly that they did ripped her when they made this scene
