I see no one has commented on this, and for good reason.

This first episode was horrible =01. Now I remember starting Tylor with the OVA series(never touched the TV series, aside from a episode or two on some international channel in the late 90s), and while I surely didn't really know what was going on, the depth of the story was oozing out from its corners.

Now I know you're not going to fit much in a less-than-3 minute episode, but everything was just BAD. The robot's voice and Tylor's voice was so similar, I had a hard time distinguishing who was talking when the scene wasn't focused on the talking char, and Tylor's voice in general sounds wayy too feminine. QUALITY was everywhere. They started with both the robot and Tylor in front of the ship/wormhole, then suddenly, they aren't, and have to run back to it? The running-to-the-ship/wormhole part was ATROCIOUS; there're no banjo sounds despite it appearing that he's strumming it, and there is sound of more steps than he's actually running >=01.

Hell, I can't even tell what happened at the end, when the ship-thingy popped from the wormhole and the robot jumped out. How did he get in there? What did he do? I know I'm on the lower end of the intelligence scale, but man this just totally flew over my head and made little sense how it was shown.

I loved Tylor. But this? And what did they do to poor Azalyn?

In case people were wondering whether it got better.... it doesn't.
Ep 5 was pretty much all done with still-sliding images, and had absolutely no bearing on the story(or so I believe, since I jumped from ep 1). Like a 3 min anime can't get any cheaper =02.
