Rogue Ninja's Past - 抜け忍の過去 ~ Nukenin no kako.

Description:

The hidden Mist Anbu and Yamato negotiate and it is hinted that Utakata is a Jinchuuriki. It is decided that Utakata will travel with the hidden leaf until their mission is complete before the mist Anbu take him back to their village. Utakata didn't mean to kill his master; it is realized that while trying to separate the Tailed Beast from him, it came out and killed Utakata's master. Later Hotaru is hurt leading Naruto to find out that the forbidden justu is engraved into her back.

I liked the element of negotiating between the villages. It kept things realistic instead of charging in and attacking, and having the conflict be forgotten and with no effect on relations between the villages later on like you might expect from a filler. It shows they're taking it seriously. The leader of those bandits also acted ninja-like with his camoflage jutsu, which was nice to see in Naruto.

It looks like extracting that jutsu may be fatal for Hotaru. Quite a predicament. We'll see next week.

Nothing special this episode, the only interesting thing are the anbu. Everything else pretty much sucks.

Well I liked the master convo part, sounds kinda touching, but the rest is..just...-_-

Omake was kinda lol, as usual, the only thing i ever paid attention to through the whole episode

how can they drag this filler on for so long...man the 6 tails is such a let down should of given him a much better storyline.

With this filler they completly ruined the effect of Jiraiya's death.

Im gonna have to rely on the manga to give me some satisfaction in the coming months cause god knows the naruto training up is going to be a bore.
