ahh well i dunno ... i plan them but never really do any .. and it takes me like 50 years to find something i want to vector some i even start and then im zzz and leave it with just outlines <.<;

yeah but then you gotta keep a library of facial expressions .. i suppose it works just like 3D when you keep parts you make for use in another project XD.. come to think of it studios do the same thing you can tell when they fumble and use the wrong stuff like in Gundam SEED Destiny... just think... some studio's got stockpiles of nipples to interchange between their chars *thinks about Sekirei*

I did have an update for this weekend but i found out that aside from artist errors i was also vectoring fanart and i have an anti-fan-art-vector policy so X_X next week i should have something ... should <.<;

Wow I'm going to be triple posting soon X_X I guess its ok since its my thread O_o?

Anyways I haven't been doing much... more of the usual starting and not finishing vectors ... here is some lines for a new Reiri Kamura I"m working on... I started it ages ago but recently re-did it... well what I had started originally over a year ago.


Some other ones I worked on but dropped, these may be "Not Work Safe"

Akiha <3, Even while being official art from the Tsukihime expansion, this is in fact drawn wrong. I have done a few fixes without altering her pose which btw is impossible... Mainly fixing her butt/Thigh area and removed her underwear. There are a lot of "bad" lines but everything is temp since i never went back to fix my rough lines I got carried away fixing her butt. this is a recent vector btw I did this last month, Started this and Reiri the same time. Man I love Type-Moon and Akiha but in the original there is a mirror that reflects her and it shows her in a full standing position yet her actual pose is some weird pose that defies logic.

Help me figure it out if you know?

Not only did this have problems(drawing errors which should be obvious to anyone who knows anatomy) but it is not official art and I decided to drop it(not even sure I should be sharing it, should I remove it?)

From those 2 plus browsing through 2D art and consulting Somonul .. I have come to understand that 2D is usually drawn in whatever way "looks" good even if it is not realistically possible. This is hard to grasp but I must try to understand should I seek to pursue 2D art.

I also happened to get to try out Z Brush and here is something i kinda started working on. Its a Bust that will probably end up being a hybrid anime/real style of some sort.


I recently bought a Bamboo Pen so I have been using it in PS and Z a lot .... so I may end up with more vectors later this winter(its too hot to work in summer O_o)


Anyways this is an old vector I did but I don't remember if I ever posted it here(my bad memory and all).

I've lost the PSD of my current vector project and it is about 75% I think wtf.... (bec. of that I'm goes wandering and lazying for a while )

It's actually neither of those, its Contour Fill in IllustStudio.. I know its not vector anymore but I've found that Contour Fill works way better than Gradient Mesh, You have much better control over it even if its not Vector.

I have felt that the colors seemed a little off, I'll try to lighten it up and see how that looks.
