Someone posted an early translation saying that the reason Vivio got so badly injured was because Miura go a bit out of control with her power to adegree the safety system wasn't able to keep up with the power of her attacks and those ended up injuring Vivio for real as a result. So yeah, it seems that Miura won fair and square xD

But well, i'll wait to read a proper translation xD

I refrained from commenting on this matter until it was somewhat cleared up, but I have to say this is so pleasantly surprising if it's true.

Now Einhart needs to get her ass stomped too, being the real main character of Vivid and all. She's up against the toughest opponent in the tournament to boot.

^ Me too, after withnessing Vitctoriea trashing Chantez with regal awesomeness i expect Sieglinde to be an amazing fighter. She's the strongest contender so she musn't dissapoint on the arena.

So if Miura can do that, then the system must have been breached quite a bit when the veterans fought.

Mhhh... sounds plausible, what aboput this? The arena received a lot of strain keeping up with Corona VS. Einahrt fight and the subsequent Chantez VS. Victoria's match, during both battles tons of high powered attacks were throwed but as the system worked well the maintenance people didn't felt the need of a check up and the system finally gives up when Miura used her superpowerfull attack repeatedly on Vivio.

...what? it could happen xD

might sound bad but i kinda only want to see einharts fight and skip the rest not really in the mood to follow the rest of the tournament now that vivios has once again achieved crap accept beating up literraly no-name charecters 2 and a half years and the supossed protagonist still hasnt had a decent fight let alone a victory
most depressing part is that well probably have to wait a min of another 18 mounths b4 the next arc begins sigh

Geeze Rio, I've heard of making your opponent hit the ring, but hitting your opponent with the ring?
I...am so disappointed.

Really...disappointed.

F**K.

I don't care if Muira won fair and square.

Something is wrong and Vivio is okay by it all.

Lame and poor character development.

ViVid...I will no longer read you. Peace out!

Her face twitched in pain (from overwork, maybe?) before being sent out of the ring with a Starbright Blade.

the fact that she lost again already really annoyed me but the lack of any actual indication of charecter development and being all smile smile afterwards is what really pisses me of

The problem is that they turned Vivio too much into Nanoha 2.0, AKA a character that already has a well-formed personality with little personal problems to be resolved. Which means that unless something in her life drastically changes (I.E. actual plot) there is little about her character that to be developed in the first place.

If you want actual character development, look at Einhart. 'Cause Vivio is unlikely going to be where it's at.

I dunno about Einhart, either; all that's happened with her so far is she's become nicer. Still wants to be the best, still has issues...

Better than the other main protagonist right now, but not by much.

Well yes, I don't expect Einhart's issues to be resolved for quite a while yet, simply because the manga is still ongoing and hasn't shown any signs of being even halfway yet. You can't have all character development done before your manga's even halfway, that'd be crappy writing in its own right.

Possibly. However, before the party starts, remember that vivid is an actual word and not just a title, it could be something else entirely.

An anime about little girls viciously beating the living crap out of each other?

I can dig that.

Hehe.

Considering it says vividred and nothing about Nanoha in the domain title, probably not.
