Wow! such a great episode!

It's kinda annoying to see Ed and Al act so childish, but then they are indeed just kids, so I guess it's understandable.

So King Bradley seems to be the last homunculus, Pride I presume.

And seeing Martel killed by King Bradley without any sounds... I guess Al should finally realize that people can die so easily... and grow up a bit...

Rose got pregnant and lost her voice during her capture by the Army... so tragic...

I didn't expect to see Lyra so soon, but Lyra ROCKS anyway

Seems this series is really heading towards a darker path... but then I love darker animes!

Ugghhh, this episode was rather annoying...not that it was a bad episode but..

i just HATE it when women get raped or skewered to death..be it real or fictional...at this rate i won't get a decent rest tonight.......WHY DID MARTEL HAVE TO DIE IN SUCH A PATHETIC WAY!?!!

dark is good but this is going towards an overdose.

the total silence when blood dripping out of Al's armor, that part is so beautifully done. This manipulation of sound (or the lack thereof) really adds to the atmosphere...

Well it happened in the manga chaper 30, so they have to do that in anime for certain important event to happen.

When blood spilled on Al's blood seal, he recovered some memory when he was sent to "that side" and lost the body. In the manga, after that event Al no longer need to draw circles to perform alchemy.

So when Martel show up again I know she will die. But in anime the pieces they move to lead to this event just feel too forced. Anyone can kill Martel inside Al. They don't have to move pride all way there just to do this. And why do pride just let Al live anyway when they already want to discard Ed? Was he sure Martel did not tell Al anything? It made sense in the manga but not here.

And then there is Scar's brother, who was shown to have lost the left arm while making Lust, but still have it in later scenes. He must have learn how to grow it back while studying about the stone...

The way which Mustang just protect Al from Kimberley without asking Al before and after is also annoying. He could just arrest him for blowing up the door guard.

So Kimberley was probably punished for losing the red stone, which will be used in enhancing the silver clocks I suppose.

Same here, when I watched this episode I was like... what did Scar just say... I only know as much japanese as one can learn from watching anime. So words I hear a lot I understand. During that scene I made out what Ed said... then made out the last part that Scar said... but the part in the middle, I didn't know the words. But from ED's reaction and the atomosphere at the time, I had a pretty dam good idea what was said. I was like NOO FREAKING WAY... I was so vexed that the forums were down at the time so I couldn't confirm what happened.

I also really really really hate it when girls get raped in animes, or in anything in general. I watched Legend of the Condor Heros live action when I was a little kid, like 8 years ago. I liked the first series but didn't like the sequel as much since right off the bat the main char's teacher/girlfriend gets raped.

And rorosama use spoiler tags, if someone haven't watched the episode yet, you just spilled a huge a spoiler.

Yeah Bradley has the Ultimate Eye seemingly, that would explain why the movements during Martel's death seemed a little slow and confusing. Al couldn't have done anything to save her. I am just glad King is still going to be a literal bad ass.

To be honest anyone who hasnt seen the episode and is reading these threads obviously wants to know what happened. I doubt anyone just reads this without watching the episode and without wanting to know what happened.

Regardless, I think for that person who will look and them maybe doing it out of excitement. With stuff that happens in a show like this even if a person asks I wouldn't spoil it for them.

You know i'm so glad this series is not splitting intense episodes up with spoilers any more. I hope at least from now until the Ed/Al's quest/story is fulfilled i hope they don't delay or include fillers because they are annoying.

Esp when everything gets good and you have to wait not 1 but 2 weeks to see the rest. The exitement kinda drops and pisses you off a little.

I would really REALLY like to see Colonel Mustang fight, omg omg, seriously! Such a powerful character and we've never seen him fight a real serious fight with a descent enemy.

Also, i can't wait until this episode! Sounds...exiting, i'm rather spoiled but still wanting it.

Got news for you here, that's the way it has always been through all the show's remakes from HK, Taiwan or Singapore over the last 25 years. This series was originally adapted from a series of chinese kung fu novels and is still quite popular. It's just that what happened as well as the heavy use of poisons [which is a trademark of sorts for the author Louise Cha] can be rather starting for ppl unfamilliar with his work. Fair warning, he doesn't shy with killing off a favourite either.

So Jin Yong's english name is Louise Cha? sounds weird... anyway it's not his trademark, the use of poisons are as much a trademark of chinese martial art novels as the use of chi.

I think "that part" of the Legend of Condor Hero is just one of reasons of why this novel is so great. It ranks my third favorite of his 14 novels (the top two being Tian Long Ba Bu and Lian Cheng Jue)

Although I was disappointed that Scar is still alive. I rather thought he'd die.

Good news on Lust's hair, that will be useful.

Seeing as how I don't understand what's said, I nearly missed what Scar told him about Roze. It took a moment to click in but it makes sense now. Scar isn't acting alone here, that's interesting to note.

Still not sure what Lyra is up to....although I think that will be revealed soon.

It has surpassed expectations as usual.

And to the person who complained about fillers:

It's almost safe to say, that won't happen. We're in the last arc now, ten-twelve episodes out and there isn't time. And at least we know until 44 it's all plot movement, even if some might not seem like it. But I don't see where the filler could even come in at this point.

Ed vs. Wrath! I'm hoping for a decent fight...not like the Scar fight.
