Cute. Still not sure what's up with Lion and Rosa's transformation. Lion's personality changes, but she still identifies as Lion, so Rosa isn't dominating her. An odd situation.
It looks to me like Nina has all the strength she needs, but has been lacking emotion, so she got sent to school to learn how to be Human. Except her instructions were phrased in "you need to discover it on your own" fashion, so she's been wasting her time trying to reach her unspecified goal by training harder.

It's a nice and cute show. In a sense seems like something easier to sit back and enjoy than the show that came before.
It is an interesting situation with Lion and Rosa. Maybe that combination triggers a different aspect to her personality or something suppressed. Nina's situation seems pretty straight forward. Extremely strong and capable in a lot of ways. In terms of pure skill and academics she's got all the tools she needs. I agree it may simply be about her learning how to be human. Build friendships with people of her age group and not simply work relationships. Could also be important for her long term benefit. With their abilities fading as they get older, the majority of Nina's life is going to be while she can't really use those powers. So just learning how to interact with people in this kind of setting might be beneficial.

I've watched until EP2, and I must say... I definitely like the concept better than the TCG. (The TCG fails on other reasons though, one most primary reason being that its demographic conflicts so much with its sister TCG Weiss Schwarz that it's just better to buy that than L&L. L&L isn't even cheaper to compensate for this conflict.)
I mean, I've watched Luck & Logic, and I loved it for the concept of Trance (which is basically a Fusion), and honestly, making it into a mahou-shoujo-esque show kinda steals it for me. [Honestly, at this point, I'll appreciate another diabetic show to go with my other watchlist as a distraction] That, and I always adored the idea of a "plot" outside "serious world-saving protagonist" plot. I mean, sure if you hate the standard magical girls on school learning magical girl stuff that's full of diabetes this is probably not your thing, but honestly, if it is, then boy does it appeal to me. I mean, if you have this world where practically anyone 30 below can become a monster that can wreck havoc on a fragile world, that's kinda both scary and exciting in its own right. As an off-hand remark, I honestly had no qualms with how Season 1 went (well, except for being only 1cour and practically speeding up the plot due to being 1cour). It was serious, it had its moments, and it had a cool concept to boot. It was awfully cheesy at times, yes, but it recognized its cheesiness, at least. And lastly, it had a surprisingly satisfying ending == On another note: Did Nina overtrance as a flashback?

Would seem odd for that to be used regularly without consequence. It was indicated in this episode that she actually had contracts with multiple Foreigners, so that may have just been a different one than the angel-like one we've been seeing.

I would like to think the case, but with both times, as well as this time, the aura of their Trance is red. You don't see it happening in any Trance, iirc. At least, we don't have the usual large Trance logo in their back, but this can just as easily be explained by how the new Foreigner card mechanic works (after all, it's a new, improved system which allows you to practically Trance with anyone from anywhere; where could we go wrong with that right? And maybe, just maybe, have Overtrancing fixed while we're at it so that it won't have the consequence of, idk, exploding in your face after the battle? )

I always wonder how do you guys do those pan shots. I always end up relying on Photoshop or something. And it must be even worse if it's a pan shot with moving elements. Anyways, I'm rather amazed that, after all this time, there's not yet another invasion from somewhere or some conflict somewhere. I mean, this world is a ticking time bomb if everything relies on pure trust between atomic bombs. Shit, you're on to me. I mean, considering I legitimately liked Eromanga-sensei, (apparently, calling that series as trash is some kind of meme) I've seen worse.

Definitely a fun series so far. Though it's not grim and serious like the original was, the show does have some very nice fight scenes, like with Lion's father and the Logicalist teacher at the beginning.

Qipao is hella fun, and it really looked like Yayoi and Chloe could have had a nice match there, under other circumstances. Of course, Yayoi gets bonus points for remembering that the mission was to get the stuffed animals to the finish, not to beat up the people opposing them.
