It seems that classic cartoon violence has a good start on this.

Her fist is, for once, bigger than Gamagoori. Not just his fist, bigger than his entire body.

Good episode, though all the plot-relevant exposition cut down on the time available for more involved character interaction. Also, Satsuki's realization about how she was acting like Ragyo feel weird to me. I could certainly have bought it if someone else had forced her to confront the fact that she had emulated some of her mother's worst traits, but I just don't see how Satsuki reached that understanding by herself. (While we're at it, how come the Devas aren't getting called out for their role in Satsuki's regime? Gamatoori even murdered somebody for stealing a Goku uniform. True, Ryuko might not have an issue with Satsuki's lieutenants, but for the Devas' sins to go unacknowledged is a sign of how much space the plot-based dialogue took up.) Overall, the sibling bonding was good, but I wish the episode had been able to spend more time on it and other character-based things.

(Mostly accurate dialogue, but with a little editing to make it mesh better.)

Besides, being able to do anything without arms is pretty badass to begin with.~

I hope not, that sister moment between her and Ryoko was just too cute. This was a perfect episode.

I'm pretty sure that month hanging in the rape cage helped a bit.

It's not weird at all. Satsuki probably had always knew that, but she's a pragmatic so if that was what it took to take down Ragyo, so be it. That's why losing to Ragyo was all it took to make her realize that she needed to change her approach. That's all. It's really not as huge a realization as this episode made it out to be. The whole speech was mostly for Ryuko's benefit, but it's not like Satsuki had a huge change of heart or anything. She has alway been like this, only now she lets herself show her true self more openly.

I think that visually, Senketsu suits Satsuki better
and Ryuuko looks better wearing Junketsu

I love how Hououmaru still talks in that calm voice when Nui is gouting large fountains of blood into her face in a vaguely erotic manner....XDD

It's the Juushin Liger concept. You're just a vessel for something bigger.
I just don't see what any double crossing would accomplish at this point unless was for the good guys. Otherwise any result would still lead to Life Fibers goal feeding off the planet then blowing it up. Nui or Ragyo pulling the trigger matter little difference from a narrative stand point, crazy or not.

I respectfully disagree. The designs of Senketsu and Junketsu match Ryuuko and Satsuki in both their appearances and personalities. Senketsu looks edgy which suits Ryuuko's a brash hot-blooded attitude. Junketsu is regal which matches Satsuki's authoritarian personality.

That is quite a rose tinted view of the outfits.

More Python then.
"Right, I'll do you for that!"
"You'll what?"
"Come here!"
"What are you going to do, bleed on me?"
"I'm invincible!"
"You're a loony."

Full disclosure, I did not make that mashup picture, but thanks.

As far as the matter of Hououmaru suddenly turning into a major villain instead of just being a competent sidekick, I can see her putting up a fight, but beyond that she has less characterization than Soroi, so it seems unlikely at this stage.

Well Kill la Kill is a pretty direct anime and doesn't really hold back on the obvious.

my reasoning is that black serafuku looks better or Satsuki because she has long hair, in a oujosama and has a sword

my other reasoning is that evil!Ryuko in Junketsu looked and sounded utterly fantastic. Koshimizu Ami must have had lots of fun during those episodes
