Or it could give clues as to how hurt and betrayed he feels. It's not like he demanded money for it at the time. It's not like he forced her to marry him in exchange for a kidney. We don't have enough information to tell.

Obama masks a big hit in Japan

From the looks of it, I can already expect possible robberies in which the villians dress up as US president-elect Barack Obama and tarnishes his image.

Police arrested man for masturbating in the museum

Quote:
Shelley Walcott

MILWAUKEE - Milwaukee police have taken a man into custody for allegedly masturbating in a bathroom stall at the Milwaukee Public Museum.

The suspect was arrested Thursday when he returned to the Museum.

A group of sixth graders on a field trip went inside a men's restroom. They said they heard the man masturbating, and also noticed a number of porn magazines on the floor around the man's feet.

The boys ran out of the bathroom and told a mother who was chaperoning the group.

That woman, who would only talk to TODAY'S TMJ4 on the condition of anonymity, told reporter Shelley Walcott: "I walked in and I was like, 'Oh my gosh,' and it was true. I mean he was doing something because he was moaning."

Museum officials were alerted. A security guard and another museum employee talked to the man, but he ran off before police arrived.

It's what the man said that really worried the chaperone.

"He said to the security guard and another gentleman from the museum that he comes in here every day and it doesn't seem to be a problem and why is it a problem today?" the chaperone said.

The museum says they have beefed up security, and even though officials say the museum is safe, they want to remind patrons to be as careful there as they would in any other public place.

At least it was in a bathroom stall and not next to the dinosaur display.

I'm tempted to ask if they'd be equally concerned if the stall occupant was making loud embarrassing noises of other kinds.... really - it wasn't like he was exposing himself. Yeah, its unpleasant... but asking him to leave the premises would have been more appropriate than *arresting* him.

Ever been standing at a urinal and have a kid take the urinal next to you and then stare directly at your nether regions? Are you exposing yourself and violating the law?

(maybe I'm just particularly unsympathetic to irrational witchburning soccer-moms anymore... especially ones that march into men's restrooms o.O )

That reminds me of the story of Baudelaire taking a date (who was also a prostitute) to a museum. She was shocked by all the "pornography" put on public display.

That whole incident reminds me of another public masturbation situation. The Pee Wee incident in the porn theater. What do they think will happen if people go see a porno in a theater. Watch the quality acting performances and gander at the scenes without incident.

What, there's someone sympathic to ''irrational witchburning soccer-moms ''? But seriously, doing it in a museum's bathroom... I don't know if I should cry or laugh.

Well, just goes to show that if someone is horny, then you can't resist it without willpower.

Because they've been trained to be overly-sensitive about it by said shrieking moms. (sorry, but I see these sorts of people on a daily basis -- I dont know how they manage not to walk into walls they're so unable to think)

The guy obviously found what he thought was a quiet out of the way place for his hobby. Clearly he didn't think that through very well

The incident should be listed as *silly* but righteous idiocy swung it into trout-slapping land.

Very old news, really. Everywhere in Fukui prefecture, Obama is the ONE. Really. ust because they have an "Obama City". No, seriously, it's a real city.

Ah, yes. The city of Obama. I thought it was already mentioned way back during the presidential campaign.

107-year-old virgin: I'm finally ready for love

Quote:

Quote:
If Wang Guiying took out a personal ad, it could read like this: 107-year-old virgin looking for Mr. Right. After avoiding marriage longer than most people have been alive, Wang is finally ready to take the plunge."Getting married was too frightening," the Chinese spinster told the Chongqing Commercial Times.

So Wang has dispatched her nephews and nieces - the youngest of which is 60 - to find her a mate. And she's given them some marching orders.First, Wang is not looking for a May-December romance, even though she's older than just about every potential suitor out there. In fact, a December-December romance would be ideal because Wang really wants a man she can talk with - someone who knows where she is coming from.

Second, Wang wants a man who can help her get around because she got a taste of being a burden at age 102 when she broke a leg and had to stop doing chores like washing her clothes."I'm already 107 and I still haven't got married," Wang said. "What will happen if I don't hurry up and find a husband?"
Perish the thought.Wang said she put off - and put off, and put off, and put off - getting hitched because, frankly, it looked like a miserable existence.Born in southern Guizhou province the daughter of a salt merchant, Wang grew up watching her uncles beat their wives, the paper said."I often found my uncle's wife crying in the woodshed after an attack," Wang told the paper. "All the married people around there lived like that."

Chinese wives had few rights and were at the bottom of the totem poll. Many also had their feet bound - an agonizingly painful process that crippled women in order to make them more "dainty and marriageable."Wang continued living on the family farm long after her parents and older sister died, working the fields until she was 74.Since then, Wang has lived with a nephew in Chongqing."My nephews and nieces are getting older and their children are already tied up with their own families," she said. "I'm becoming more and more of a burden."
