Hakuoki looks pretty good on the site. Let's hope they can keep the quality up.

And still no thread? XD

According to MoonPhase, an anime for MM was announced. Since it already had a thread when it was in the wishful thinking stage, why not reopen that one?

Yep. It is.

Go to YouTube and look up Ranma 1/2 2010 (like I did) or Ranma OVA 13.

It looks VERY nice.

Edit: I'd post links, but since Ranma 1/2 is licensed in the U.S., I'm not allowed to.

Heh I had a feeling that someday an anime adaptation will be announced

Anyway, I'll ask an admin to re-open the anime's thread.

I'll update the MM! anime thread (once its opened that is, since you can't update a post in a closed thread) with the covers of the shounen(boy's) light novel series MM!, which the anime adaptation is based on.

I was wondering why TokyoPop resurrected this LN series. The writing is very visual; so it should translate well into an Anime. Now if we can get the Manga too.

Holy hell!
I really hope it's not going to be just an OVA, and they do it into a proper TV series.

If someone doesn't know what's this, it's a website about the anime adaptation of Nitroplus Chiral's (Nitro+'s branch developing BL eroge) yaoi game originally released on PC in 2005 then later adapted onto PS2 in 2008 without the erotic content, and which is called Togainu no Chi. It's a really action packed, street fighting Visual Novel in some future post-apocalyptic Japan.

After 5 frickin' year hoping at least one of Nitro+CHiRAL games get adapted, finally they did it. Big yes to the one that has actions, gore, drugs, b@stards, psychos, and such.

Here's hoping good staffs working for it and not toning down the blood and gore, OVA or TV series I don't really care as long as it's good If my memory suffice, the routes were short enough that I finished reading one in, 5-6 hours first time reading through. Some OVA episodes should suffice, though ANIPLEX+TV episodes mean proper budget!

EDIT: Seems like it's getting anime than OVA. Yes I just died. :3

A little late, but I added the covers of the shounen(boy's) light novel series Kore wa Zombie Desuka? in the above post. Also a shounen manga adaptation of the shounen light novel series started serialization recently and there are no volumes released of it yet.

Is there a thread up already for the more historical-looking Romance of the Three Kingdoms series, as shown here (fourth row down, first on the left)?

Going by the official twitter of Yasuda Suzuhito, there well be a OVA remake of Yozakura Quartet, which will be more faithful to the manga. First volume will be bundled together with the 9th manga volume in October.

Title: Yozakura Quartet ~Hoshi no Umi~
Staff
Director & Character Designer & General Graphic Director: Ryochimo
Production Studio: Tatsunoko Productions, KMMJ Studios

Could we have a thread making for this please?

According to ANN, Queen's Blade Utsukushiki Tōshi-tachi OVA has been announced! To us yuri fans, Queen's Blade is all the women without the annoying and generic male lead cock/cuntblocking the yuri potential.

The May issue of Hobby Japan magazine is revealing on Thursday that a Queen's Blade Utsukushiki Tōshi-tachi OVA is being announced.

Queen's Blade began as Hobby Japan's Japanese game spinoff from Flying Buffalo's Lost Worlds combat picture book games. The television anime adaptation's first season, Queen's Blade -Rurō no Senshi-, aired in Japan from April to June of last year. The second season, Queen's Blade: Gyokuza o Tsugumono, was announced immediately after the last episode of the first season. The second season premiered this past September.

Media Blasters CEO John Sirabella revealed last November that his company has acquired both television seasons of Queen's Blade with plans for dubbing them into English.

Volume 11 limited edition of the shounen manga Mirai Nikki by Esuno Sakae will come with an anime DVD.

Hmmm... the important announcement that was mentioned before, is only an OVA adaptation?
