Anyway, we have a summary

All the students of U.A. High School’s 1-A gather together. The "Symbol of Peace" All Might-- people around the world looked up to him but he has regrettably retired from hero work. Now they face the series’ most sinister villain “Nine”, who is operating behind the scenes in a certain incident and boasts overwhelming strength.

So this happens after All Might's retirement.

It looks like they want Hawks to make his debut in the movie before he appears in the anime. I guess that's one way to spark interest in him so people anticipate his appearance in the anime.

I really like this Nine dude's design.

Wonder how much of a threat he will be, first movie villain needed double 100% smashes from both Izuku and All Might, but All Might cannot fight this time around.

It kind of annoys me that I've kind of been spoiled that there even IS a character called Hawks, as I am still trying to maintain absolutely no spoilers and completely anime-only (haven't even watched any PVs for the new 4th season )
But thankfully, without context, I don't know who that character is in the artwork, so I'm semi-fine with that.

I'm all for a new movie. I'd like to see one that fleshes out Bakugo and Deku's relationship more. I've only JUST begun to even like Bakugo, so I'm interested in seeing him grow.
Also, does Bakugo have any siblings or cousins? Those two little kids the two seem to be protecting, look a lot like him.

One of them is Hawks

Movie original characters.

Between Deku and Bakugo who is standing in the front, we can see 2 characters appear to be hugging each other. These 2 original characters were described as locals of the remote island "Nabujima" which our heroes visit during an off campus activity. Apparently, they will be the keys of this story.

Looks like it's confirmed the movie will take place after the Manga's most recent story arc based on several tiny details on the characters shown on the trailer.

Nah they'll probably avoid adding any big spoiler for the anime only viewers, probably.

Trailer looks hype. I'm pumped.

Nine's power looks really cool. Energy based quirk it seems. I hope Deku, Bakugo and Shoto fight him 3 vs 1.

I just saw the subbed trailer, his name is Nine because he has NINE freaking quirks.

How are they going to defeat him without All Might

I have no idea how they're going to defeat him either, since it's apparently just the students facing him.

Maybe Deku and Bakugou will get a temporary boost that allows them to go beyond their current limit(kinda happened with Deku in the first movie).

Looking at the promo pics and trailers, Shoto's relevancy level will probably be closer to Iida/Kirishima than Deku and Baku :/.

In the first movie, Deku got a plot device that let him go all out. Wouldn't be surprised if something similar happens here.

I just hope the plot device will be a good one, and that there'll be a valid reason only students are involved. Deku's gloves are his brand new ones from the manga, right?

And I'm disappointed the villain is just discount AFO.
