Right.. too many familiar names in this thread *not* to check out the series ....

Sounds like an entertaining enough diversion if naught else.

Ok, Shota's dad was way too trusting in episode 7...does he know something, like Mamoru (Gaogaigar)'s folks did?

While I was reading Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS thread, I realized one thing, that Gretel is almost like Fate was in Nanoha's first season, Gretel is doing everything for her "onii-sama", like Fate was for her mother.

Althought Hansel just mock her for her failures, not beating her half-dead, this is a childrens show, but what if she will switch sides at some point of the series and starts fighting for Akazukin and co. Remember, real main villain is Cendrillon (sp?), not Hansel or Gretel.

But in the fairy tales, Gretel protects Hansel. So if they follow that line, then Cendrillion would have to attack Hansel. Greta takes the hit and is injured. Hansel becomes angsty, caring brother. Hansel and Greta attempts to escape, but get captured. Cendrillion is about to cook the both of them and Akazukin arrives to save them!

*Cue Musketeer group stock footage, sweet phone stock footage, musketeer attack stock footage.*

Fight ensues. Cendrillion kicks their a**. We lose Ringo finally. Oh well, the tsundere was only in the way of our Akazukin getting the guy. Thank you Cendrillion!

Kouta powers up and saves the day!

Episode 11 was definitely best and funniest so far, and a very big plus for dere-dere Ringo. This episode made me actually laugh, several times.

For some reason I'm having a hell of a time getting any torrents to work for this series. There's a fair number of nodes but they all forcibly disconnect. Not having this problem with other series currently d/ling.

Ah well.... (goes off to keep tinkering), eventually I'll have something to say...

I suspect that, at some critical moment, Ringo is going to display some true magical ability.

Again complete victory! Episode 14 proves why I follow this. It just gives good mood whenever I check it . Although episode focused on Gretel (which is good thing) and had a bit sad mood. It had very funny moments with team Akazukin.

Spoiler for Episode 14 Screencaps, no action revealed:

Aah, guilty pleasure.

A few weeks ago I was channel-surfing here until I came upon this show, and... wait a minute... was that Yukari Tamura I hear? Whoa! Yukari Tamura at 9:00 in the morning! So I checked out the episode, and I'm totally sold! This relived my memories of how much I loved kiddie mahou shoujo shows like my all-time favorite Cardcaptor... wait... wasn't that Syaoran I heard? Wow! It was the original Syaoran! This is awesome! It's like a mix of two genres... mahou shoujo adventures + bishoujo animation... with instantly recognizable seiyuu.

Ever since, I've been checking out every Saturday mornings.. just like now. Better make a 10-episode catch-up.

Nothing wrong with this show... just not striking my bell. I watched a few episodes ... the artwork reminded me a bit of Petopeto-san. Can't deny the cuteness of the little winged helmet and squeaky shoes (another petopeto note) and it was an interesting transition from "reality" to otherworld.

Carry on, just not my cup of ocha.

It is shown at 9 AM on Saturdays. It's a nice, wholesome magical girl anime filled with positive female role models. A nice change from all the violent, angsty, mature titles out there.

This title will definitely put a smile on your face imo.

Anyway, just as I suspected...

Spoiler:

My favorite ep. so far are ep. 13 and 14.

Right, I have a confession to make; this series is my guilty secret anime pleasure for saturdays. I can no longer remain silent about it. The reason being that episode 18 was all kinds of awesome...
