That'd be Last Quarter. AFAIK, it isn't related to any of the other series.

Also - Tokumori is the son of a minor character in Gokinjo, the bartender of the Jazz club where everyone from the apartment complex hangs out.

Actually, I rather enjoyed the first two fansubs I saw of this.

finally watched episodes 3 and 4 and this show is really good. i cant wait for more to come out cuz this is kinda show that grows on u. lotsa drama so far.

Finally watched ep 4--as others mentioned this show really grows on you even if the look of the show is a bit of a shock after watching ParaKiss. Can't wait for more

I'm saving this for at least 12 eps before I start watching again. Maybe because I watched this one first so I much prefer it over Paradise Kiss. I found the characters more likeable and I like the angst.

I was wondering if anyone knew if there is any group, other than IY4F, that is subbing Gokinjo Monogatari. IY does a great job but they still only have 5 episodes. But they do keep up with NANA well.

Sadly, since Gokinjo Monogatari is an older series from 1995, there aren't many fansub groups willing to Sub it, so I think you'll have to wait it out with IY4F

. I just loved the peppy feel of it though, and it's less dark and soapy than ParaKiss and Nana, though I liked all of Yazawa's works.

But shoujomagic has the manga completely translated if you're interested or haven't read it already. And I think once Nana ends, which should be in Marchish, they'll have more time to focus on works like Gokinjo.

Does anyone know if anyone else has taken this up at all? IY4F seems to be rather inactive, seeing how there hasn't been a post on their forums or news for about a year now. I watched the first 6 episodes and the anime addiction demands more. XD

You have now realized that curse of GM. I've been trying since '98 or '99 to get someone to pick up where Pakman left off. Many people have said they'd do it, I even had the series, but everyone who'd volunteer would just drop it. At this point, your best bet is to keep your fingers crossed that it gets licensed over here. I came to the realization 6 years ago no one was serious about subbing this series. Sad to say.

I thought I had had it, I saw a subber, newly out this year, with 48 eps subbed, a group named "Power" flagged ongoing......then I saw...they subbed it in Chinese. Raising and crushing my dreams in one clean strike. The search goes on. :/

I don't even know where the group gets its raws from. I can't seem to find them anywhere. The series is up to 500.00 USD on cdjapan, quite a hefty sum, and I don't know if I want to undertake the mission of buying it before it gets wiped out completely off the surface of the internets.

I haven't seen it yet, but I did collect the manga. It's a very addicting series. Kind of sad that they stopped subbing it, as I'd like to see it.

Does anybody know if Akemi shows up in any of those 6 episodes? She's my favorite Gokinjo character

I had some troube to find this toopic.

Yuuran fansubs had picked the series and are releasing episodes at a steadily pace.

So, anyone around here has been following this?

BTW, thanks a bunch Yuuran, I've been wanting to watch this since 2005 when i watched Paradise Kiss.
