to be even more confusing: Virgillia used to be Beatrice right? And Gaap too(not sure if it is the actual Gaap, maybe Ryukishi is planning something.). Yasu then got the right of being Beatrice from Gaap, or actually she kinda stole it. But Virgillia said that she is the teacher of Beatrice(the latest one) . Does this mean that the little beatrice we saw in episode 3, the Beatrice who got yasu, and virgillia the mother of that Beatrice? And Gaap being an imposter?

I get the feeling you didn't really understand what they were showing you happen in Episode 7. I'll put my interpretation of the events below, maybe it'll help you.

Witches don't exist (well, at least, they don't exist on the island and have nothing to do with Yasu). Gaap doesn't exist. Yasu pretended Beatrice (later known as Gaap) was playing pranks on her. She later decided she wanted to be Beatrice, so she rewrote the idea in her head for Gaap to be Beatrice's friend, not Beatrice herself. Virgilia is how Yasu sees Kumasawa when she is in witches-mode. Kumasawa taught Yasu lots of neat tricks like how to keep her key by her, right? In Yasu's "I am a witch" mind, she decided to pretend that was Kumasawa was a great witch, maybe even a predecessor Beatrice, teaching her magic.

Just after Jessica checks around the exalted guest's room and her run-in with the creepy doll. I stopped when Will was asking about the dining room seating.

I finally got started with episode 7. Kinzo's war story is pretty crazy...like something from a Commando comic book. Completely unexpected, but it made the story click together very nicely. Torpedoes, gold, Beatrice, the doctor...well, I guess someone might have been able to predict it all, but it's still worthy of applause. Now the mystery's over and we can just enjoy the play, I guess?

EP7 is the last 'hint' before the solution is (hopefully) outright given to us. But that does not mean the mystery is over - most of the episode either confirms our earlier suspicions or gives us some interesting back-story. Interesting, but not obviously relevant to the mystery. If you expected a confession, we're not quite there yet! Have fun with reading.

Ryukishi has already said that he will not outright give the solution. EP 7 is the first time we're getting such straight forward conclusions, via Will's deductions. Ryukishi also said in another interview that EP 7 is the last bits of the mystery and EP 8 will majorly be a conclusion to the series, not something that lays out answers like EP 5-7 did.

As for the outright solution-

1) Will solves all the closed rooms from EP 1-4 by the end of EP 7.
2) Kyrie and Rudolf are revealed to be the culprits. This is technically Bern's version of the story, but she said it was true in red. Whether or not this is 'the' answer for the culprits is unknown until EP 8.

Even though the Red was interrupted, and it's entirely possible it might've only applied to that kakera, anyway. Rudolf and Kyrie as the culprits make no sense, and if that's what Ryukishi's honestly going with, he just bungled up with a huge fucking logic error.

The main culprit is Yasu hands down. EP 7 is an example of what happens when the gold is found. You can pretty much deduce four answers.

Spoiler for EP 7 end game:

1) If the gold is found by one person (Eva for example) but not before midnight of the 1st day, then Yasu goes along with killing everyone. The bomb goes off.
2) If the gold is found by a group before midnight of the 1st day, then Yasu does not kill anyone, but what happened in EP 7's tea party is the end result. The bomb goes off.
3) If the gold is not found at all, then Yasu goes along with killing everyone. The bomb goes off.
4) If the gold is found by one person before midnight of the 1st day, Yasu does not kill anyone. EP 5 is an example of this with Battler and Erika finding it. Yasu (as Shannon and Kanon) drops the letter by the door and concedes.

Although in the last case, someone likely poses as Yasu and continues the murders. They're faked at first, but later on they are killed.

Context is everything. It "doesn't make sense" in the same way that the reveal of the murderer in Higurashi's second to last episode "didn't make sense" because we had no context for their actions. Once we get that context it'll "make sense."

This is just speculation - but I doubt he meant he won't actually give us the solution, he probably will do something like Matsuribayashi, where we piece the solution ourselves, in a way (didn't he mention it will have choices?).

I still have much difficulty understanding Yasu's motive to kill everyone for real, if Yasu is not some schizophrenic, dangerously suicidal person.

That's why I can't really accept Yasu as the culprit

The theory that the real perpetrator (Yasu?) was not the actual murderer but (in)directly causes others to kill each other has been floating around since... Episode 5 I think, and it's still a very real explanation for any and all the murders and their variations, that there is one set mastermind but no set murderers.

This is still my core belief that I've explained in a post somewhere in the subforum months ago.
