There is so much irony in this picture that I don't know to laugh or cry :

Special offer. Indeed.

P.S Those seem to be baubles from a Christmas tree. That is one hell of a present.

Most of all, you have to be disciplined and you have to save, even if you hate our current financial system. Because if you don't save, then you're guaranteed to end up with nothing.

Deaths reports as high as 1,300 from Syria gas attacks:

"Syrian opposition activists estimate that 1,300 people, including children, died from
what they say is a toxic gas attack from the Syrian regime."

U.S. missile attacks in Syria ruled out for fear of rebel backlash:

"The Obama administration is opposed to even limited U.S. military intervention in Syria
because it believes rebels fighting the Assad regime wouldn't support American
interests seizing power, Gen. Martin Dempsey, chair of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, writes
in a letter to a U.S. congressman."

It’s All About Brand Awareness in Al Qaeda’s New Syria:

"As rebel-controlled cities in eastern Syria, including Al Raqqa and Deir Ez Zor, fall out of
the hands of the Free Syrian Army and into the hands of Al Qaeda-allied groups, Islamic
extremists are adopting new marketing techniques to recruit followers.

Like custom cakes, t-shirts, coffee mugs and cell phone cases. Yes, you read that
right. Today’s Al Qaeda is all about brand awareness."

Don't know what to say about Syria. At least it is not a revolution, not when the country is so divided.

btw for those who want Obama to do something, who wants to sent troops into Syria? because that is what is going to take even if Russia and China agrees not support Assad.

If this article is correct, this may already be happening:

American, Israeli And Jordanian Troops And CIA Agents Have Entered Syria, Le
Figaro Reports

"According to our information, the regime's opponents, supervised by Jordanian, Israeli
and American commandos moving towards Damascus since mid-August. This attack
could explain the possible use of the Syrian president to chemical weapons.

According to information obtained by Le Figaro , the first trained in guerrilla warfare by
the Americans in Jordan Syrian troops reportedly entered into action since mid-August
in southern Syria, in the region of Deraa. A first group of 300 men, probably supported
by Israeli and Jordanian commandos, as well as men of the CIA, had crossed the
border on August 17. A second would have joined the 19. According to military
sources, the Americans, who do not want to put troops on the Syrian soil or arming
rebels in part controlled by radical Islamists form quietly for several months in a training
camp set up at the border Jordanian- Syrian fighters ASL, the Free Syrian Army,
handpicked."

U.S. Warships Move Toward Syria:

"As the Obama administration weighed a military response to the Syrian conflict, the
commander of U.S. forces in the Mediterranean has ordered warships closer to Syria
in case the Pentagon green lights a cruise missile strike. Tomorrow, Joint Chiefs
Chairman General Martin Dempsey is expected to present options for a strike."

That's the question everyone is asking.

If we (NATO) mobilize forces to Syria, what will Russia do in response?

Well regardless if anything happens it'll all be well and truly over by the time I finish my training.

I don't buy it. The chemical weapons are just deployed in such a silly way.

Too late now, somebody, somewhere, decided that they want this fight, and will do what they will to make it happen. If the US government is lucky people would now focus on the Syrian battle rather than PRISM.

I just don't see a happy ending, for anyone, out of this. There will be a lot of dead people, and almost certainly fresh recruitment opportunities for Al-Qa'ida. And it will end up with the same unstable murderous Syria as before, with a slightly different guy in charge or not.

All for what? "chemical weapons"? So all the death and destruction that happened in the last few years doesn't count because it is done with bombs and bullets?

You'll be surprised how teenagers around the world are doing stupid things for various other stupid reasons.

Blame the Sunni Shite split. That's pretty much the one reason why Muslums kill each other in that area. All because there is a disagreement on who the prophet's successor was suppose to be. That little Game of Thrones lasted to the present day.

So far its just the U.S. and the UK that are preparing. There was no mention if Russia on the CBS evening news, nor France. But it was said that the U.N. is taking its time in investigating the attack
Also what's been said is it will be a cruise missile strike for now. Wether or not ground forces are sent in remains to be seen.

The theory I heard from some conservatives is that this is all about getting back at Russia for harboring Snowden. The USA was miffed about that, and they know that Russia will get miffed if we do anything in Syria. The chemical weapons are just a convenient excuse to go in there under the guise of humanitarian causes; it's really giving an under-the-table kick to Russia.

I don't know if that's the primary motivator, but I wouldn't be surprised if it weren't on the minds of some of our government employees. Aside from people with ties to Syria, I can't imagine who would support the US getting involved.
