Not sure whether someone made a topic about this yet. I think I found this series first from oniisama site but had just actually read it in batoto because someone translated it. This one is also already published but I think no WN chapter was deleted after that.

I'm not sure how this will go though. Territory expansion type of story? Romance? Also not sure how the female MC somehow become really lady-like and competent after she got reincarnated

the novel and manga explained it that it's because their memory got combined after reincarnated but her father musing hints that her competence was already there back she was still young so there might be something more..

Anyway, the girl is hot and it reminds me of Okobore Hime MC so picked up.

I would suggest naming this thread "Common Sense of a Duke’s Daughter" since that's what the WN is generally known as.

I've been following the translated chapters so far. The setup is an interesting take on the whole "reincarnated as a villainess ojou-sama" trope since it starts at the "fall". Seems this one is going to be heavy on the economics rather than romance. It's early days yet since most of the chapters are quite short. I'm a bit on the fence with this series so far - I feel it's going to need a bit more than what's been shown so far.

I'm not sure either with the translated WN chapter's pace are pretty slow and it feels like it's only been the opening part of the whole series

One thing for sure though the main focus is probably 'civilization development'. It feels like that WN where the MC wins lottery and use his money to bring tools to the isekai people, but here the MC brings new 'system' instead of introducing modern tools to the civilizations..

Reading this, really glad someone translate this. i read description in oniichanyamete and interested, but using GT is too hard.

this story is unique that Japanese memory only appear after Fall, so original personality of 18? years still retained and combined with 'old life' memory. (competence and lady-ness come from being Duke's Daughter, while accounting from Japanese personality)

from what I understand, there're 3 femme-fetalle in this series, Iris(MC), her mom(ex knight/soldier) and queen dowager.
as for why I call 'em as FF, cuz :
1. a young woman who make a revolution economic and industry
2. a pair mother and daughter whose enchanting entire kingdom's cuz their bloodline, fame, money
3. a woman who previously donning metal armour and weaponized with steel sword as knight/soldier battling in war with another country with her generals' father now battling in society of noble's wives weaponized with her own wits and endless supply teas, coffees, chocos etc. from her daughter's product.
4. a woman whose hold the last decision of the kingdom since the current king's unable do so.

Its pretty rare for me to like to a shoujo manga with female MC and reverse harem.

The blonde is the knight guy, and the red head is the playful knight guy. Maybe?

There is no harem in this, the original otome game for the basic plot is a reverse harem, but no one has an actual harem in this series as plot develops, rather it's a series on how to systemically dismantle a reverse harem.

Fundamentally 1:1 romance, with rough naisei/politics.

Her bodyguard with blonde hair had straight hair. Second prince also had that braid that hangs down on his right side.

I thought Xacual was asking about the cover for the second novel though? Dida and Ryle were the ones on the first volume's cover.

Edward would make a truly terrible king. It looks like he is not that good at using his head to rationally think about the bigger picture so yeah, manipulating him probably isn't that hard.

kari-no-sugata II Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2015	Here's how I'd summarise what's been translated so far: Spoiler: The start: MC is leading ojou-sama at school for nobles in medieval setting. She's officially engaged to the prince (and heir to the throne) and madly in love with him but when he starts cheating on her with a mere baroness's daughter she then bullies that daughter. Eventually she has a "fall" scene where this is all publicly revealed and it's then when the MC regains her memories from her previous life and having seen this scene in a game. She managed to calm down and (somewhat) take control of her destiny enough to leave the school with a bit of pride still. The setup: This is when we find out that the MC isn't your typical one dimensional villainess ojou-sama character but is actually one of the more enlightened people around since she's frequently rescued orphans and the like - they're basically her loyal retainers. Anyway, the big scene here is when she meets with her father to determine her fate. In the game she was confined to a nunnery (or something). For me this has been the best scene in the series so far. In the end she's given day-to-day control of the Duke's entire territory - the Duke himself is the country's prime minster and has left management of the ducal territory to a vassal. What happens next: our newly free and empowered MC goes back to her family home and begins some long term economic and business innovations (she has experience with finance in her previous life) and I suspect we'll see cultural reforms too. Given all the political discussions she had with her father I suspect there'll be some big political battles latter on.
