Announcement #1 Update: Website updated with new announcement and updated info for older announcements. New comments from Index, Komoe and Last Order Seiyuus. New section for e-books of Kamachi's works. Apparently there is more than one collaboration announcement in July. The website doesn't look that empty anymore.

Announcement #2 Update: The name of Haimura Kiyotaka's second illustration book has been revealed.

It is due for release sometime in August.

Announcement #3 Update: The name of Kamachi Kazuma's new novel series has been revealed:

"未踏召喚: //ブラッドサイン"
Mitou Shoukan: //Blood Sign aka Unexplored Summoning: //Blood Sign

It is due for release on September 10th.

Announcement #4: Nothing new but as already stated in earlier posts it will most likely be a figure of Shokuhou Misaki. More to be revealed in Dengeki HOBBY MAGAZINE which is due for release on June 25th.

No databook announcement yet. No anime announcement yet. 6 more announcements left in total. This is going to be a long year...but the website is starting to feel like it contains a lot of info so at least there is some hope.

And they did at least have a good announcement this month even if it was only one announcement. His new book series sounds a bit more awesome than an "orthodox school" novel series. I wonder if that description was just supposed to troll us or something.

Does anyone know if it will be translated?

It's "orthodox" in the way most light novel series are written that way.

This is some pretty good news at least. I'm happy for the guaranteed more announcements. I'm also happy they're having an event or news on June 25th for the actual anniversary of Kamachi. I wish they told us these things ahead of time so we'd have more faith.

Honestly, after Nintendo in E3, I believe ANYONE can come back from anything, so I'm totally excited for potential season 3 chances. I know it is still unlikely, but at least they're definitely still supportive for stuff from Index. I thought we wouldn't be getting stuff since Kamachi was toning down Index stuff for now, but there might be more reasons for that than what one might first think:

Given that Kamachi can handle so many things at once, I honestly believe he's working on something else. It is possible that part of the reason he doesn't have as much time to do other Index stuff is that he's working on story-boarding an Index anime or something else or another movie. After all, Kamachi is used to doing many different series at once and writing them very well at the same time.
