I had talked about Manabi Straight and how I compare it to Stella no Mahou instead of using Summer 2016's New Game! as a point of comparison, and I think the series eventually departs from Manabi Straight simply for having a continuation. Manabi and the Seioh Private High School student council did not have that luxury and thus, we can see Tamaki's character development that is relatively unimpeded. Hell, we even saw her take on a more personal doujin game project for the SNS club, which is a big leap from the stuttering cuddly mess we had in the first episode.
The odds of having a second season is low as it seems that too many Kirara anime have been greenlit too quickly and signs of burnout are imminent. That said, I wouldn't mind exploring on how the SNS club would handle Tama-chan as the project leader.

I've managed to finished this series. Gotta say that the SNS Club managed to become successful by releasing two games, the second one being more successful than the first. Still, I wonder when will both Minaha and Fumine will join the SNS Club?
It was an enjoyable show but I guess that we might not see a sequel in the future... |

Finally watched the two-part special, and it's very different without Tamaki around. With the graduation of Teru, the club's spirit and moodmaker, the three members struggle with the looming melancholy in the club. One can't help but think that the SNS Club would fizzle out if not for Tamaki discovering her interest in making games. Teru was so capable of so many things that, like a pillar, her absence meant that the club would struggle to keep itself together.
I appreciate the rather realistic take on club affairs after the graduation of its key members, and I feel that Teru's graduation has helped the club find its own footing, with Ayame, Kayo and Shii finally establishing bonds of friendship as the three remaining members of the SNS Club.
