Railgun's definitely got a different staff behind it.

The director for To Aru Kagaku no Railgun will be Nagai Tatsuyuki (Toradora, Honey and Clover II) and the main writer will be Minakami Seishi (Shigurui, Paranoia Agent).

They still have the same character designer, though.

Both Toradora and Honey and Clover were succesful anime's so I believe that this director will give To Aru franchise the treatment and popularity it deserves.

I haven't had a chance to look at it myself yet, but this is from the latest installment of the serialized story included with the Index SE releases.

Spoiler for Mikoto's abilities:

I can't say i'm too surprised to see it after vol 15 of the novels, but I am a bit surprised that it happened for the first time in a short side story novel serialized as a bonus for the home release of the Index anime.

Nice picture. For a promotional picture. We already see kuroko on attack mode. Hoping for more.

Did she really receive an attack their? It looks like a wing to me. As far as I remember the one who have awaken yet is accelerator's black wing and the number 2 ( don't know his name ) Has a white wing.

Well, ofcourse it couldn't be Kawada Mami cause she has to do the Shana S opening. And the song has to be composed and arranged by Nakazawa Tomoyuki just like Hishoku no Sora and Joint so it can be good like them and not crap like PSI-missing and masterpiece.

Maiko Iuchi may not be doing TOO MUCH at the end of this year, so it's a possibility.
