Preview for episode 12 is out, and it looks like they're going to skip quite a bit.

Virgilia/Ronove/Young Beato are all in the preview... but so is Maria with the letter and Rosa telling the adults about her meeting with human Beato. I don't know, I jsut hope they don't butcher it a lot. And it also contains... worldend dominator? what OH I THINK IT'S A ROSA-MUSOU REFERENCE.

ALSO D'AWW YOUNG BEATO.

I get the feeling that the episode will end with Rosa telling everyone she killed Beatrice. Which is before the actual flash back of meeting her.

It's a good cliffhanger spot.

I have a feeling episode 12's going to have a really fast pacing unless they choose to cut a few large chunks out.

I don't even expect it to be THAT rushed, there is not that much to cover and even the stuff that could be skipped will be said again later (like Eva feeling bad).

We have the 2 prologues, with young Beato meeting Vargilia (which could be reduced to her breaking the vase, Vargilia fixing it and saying one or two sentences about the nature of magic) and adult Beato declaring the new game started (which is just about Bernkastel being mean and her).
Eva's past would be nice, but a closer look could be included into a later flashback before she solves the riddle. The only thing we really need is her talking to her inner self.
The happenings on the island can be condensed pretty much into a few pictures, which in the end only leads to Battler and Beato fighting in the Metaworld and of course Ronoves appearance (with some info about Beato).
And after that we're already at the dinnertable, where Rosa can announce that the letter can't be from Beatrice, because she killed her.
Episode 12 End.

That's how I would imagine it.

Though it does seem to be going a little fast in the beginning, and I'm a bit worried about that, I'm also glad they're willing to devote a lot of time to the later parts.

If they rush Beato's big troll, that would be seriously bad for the Episode.

I think they showed a lot from the ending parts of the episode.

Beato's face looked weird in one frame, and looks like they really showed young Beato huh? Also, Bronove has arrived. I'm looking forward to how he and Virgilia will sound.

My biggest concern is if this arc is really 7 episodes. I really hope they don't make it 6 and make Alliance 9. Alliance is longer but I think it can have more cuts. Banquet needs 7 episodes.

Despite the fact that I accept cuts and think it's usually for the better, the epic trollish mindfuck that is Ep3 may need as little cuts as possible to preserve it's awesomeness. This includes the magic fight, Beato's various "change of heart" scenes and of course the ending.

If they do it right, it should leave anime viewers with the impression that someone ran their cerebrums through a food processor that fell into a washing machine inside the junkyard compactor, which is the desired effect.
