I’ve been thinking about this for a while and I could have sworn that a few years ago we had one, but I don’t seem to see any text-only formatting available on the site…Lots of times I prefer to read long threads (Like a Code Geass or Gundam 00 which tends to have 500+ pages each week) at work or at lunch and it would be nice if I could print it out as a text-only which saves ink, space, and obviously obscures anyone who stumbles upon my print-out (Ya know non-anime inclined people will tend to find loli or moe-girls quite disturbing in the way some of our members choose to use them in their avys or sigs^^)…I’m just wondering did I somehow overlook this feature or if it’s something that can be created...I’d like to here other’s opinion on it obviously, but I for one would love to be able to use a feature like this…

The archive view is optimised for search engines and can provide a text-only alternative.

The only bad thing is that it doesn’t differentiate any of the quotes, so it’s gonna be hard to read, but I guess beggars can’t be choosers can they?

Also can this be accessed from the homepage thru a link or something? Just curious...

Various BB Code tags have issues in the archive. I've not found a way of improving it without a lot of custom code.

Did you try the "Thread Tools" button next to the search button?

Under that button, you can select "Show Printable Version" to get the thread formatting that you're looking for...

You can disable avatars and signatures. Images could stay, you just need to make sure you're nowhere near a image thread.

@CrowKenobi - Thread Tools does the trick…I don’t think I’ve ever had to click on that button, but it separates the quotes and allows me to put a crapload of posts on one page…So I can read animesuki without hiding the pages everytime someone walks into my office in fear a loli-girl avy will get me the evil eye^^…
