I... I'm not sure how I feel. I'm a ridiculously huge fan of GE, but that's mainly for its mechanics combined with fact that there's a story. (A story that's far from groundbreaking, but there's worse plotlines out there... if I'm being extremely generous.) If they do not make the best parts of GE shine or bust out their best animation (something I was never terribly impressed by in the openings), this will probably turn me off.

I also have concerns about how the protagonist will be handled. We don't need a Blade & Soul repeat...

All anime studios pretty much work for Bandai Namco and Aniplex at this point. It's been that way for a while. They pretty much own and fund like everything.
