Fujita Toshiko passes away. Lost of roles but Taichi from the original Digimon is probably her most well known role amongst western fans. She also voiced Taeko Miyauchi in Chihayafuru (the club adviser)

Since puppets are not to everyone's taste, I'd like to give a shoutout to Aoi Yuuki for her excellent work as the demonic sword Seven Blasphemous Deaths in Thunderbolt Fantasy. One of her best performances in quite some time. Quite the maturation from voicing seven-year-old Murasaki in Kurenai to the dark seductive adult voice she uses in Thunderbolt.

Kinryuu Arimoto passed last February 1. The upcoming Psycho-pass SS: Case 2 movie would probably be his last role. I hope they put a dedication for him in there. RIP

Man another voice actor death to esophageal cancer. Considering the ages of the men who've died and the time period in which they would have grown up in, I'm wondering if they were at least at some point smokers. Even so, rest in peace Kinryuu Arimoto.
