used with sugar, margarine/butter, boiling water and vanilla essence Stir and let it cool in the fridge http://www.ehow.com/how_4903555_make...nsed-milk.html I've never heard of anyone using normal milk before >: normal milks makes it a lot harder that is old school method and not easy edit: just to clear up why they use powdered The way you did it was to make icecream, well sort of and that is why they use powdered milk, boiling water does not crystallize Last edited by -KarumA-; 2010-07-10 at 08:29. |

Have anyone here ever purchased merchandise from Otaku Mitsukai successfully before? I'm asking because the complete collection of Gurren Lagann has FINALLY been released as of July 6th; however, it's sold out at all the major online shopping sites I usually use (Best Buy, Amazon, Right Stuf, etc.). It's available at OM and while it looks like a legit site, I've never used it so I'm wary.

I've got all six of the Star Wars movies. I'm thinking about watching IV first, since it's the first in real time. I want to get the same experience that the fans who've been watching it from the 1970s to now had, but I wonder if they felt slightly trolled. Which would maximize my experience and give me the best handle on the story - watching IV to VI then I to III, or watching I chronologically to VI?

Hm, I know absolutely nothing about Star Wars, except the various memes that have been adopted into mainstream pop culture that everyone knows, of course. I think I'll watch IV first, then rewatch IV to VI after III (I have a lot of time on my hands ). Thanks, guys.

Anime Theme Songs
I've noticed that there are many anime theme songs which have little snippets of English in them. Examples are Gantz and Hell Girl. I've often wondered the purpose of the English part? For me the English parts takes me out of the song. I'd rather the songs just be completely Japanese.

The reason is the same as any other language that "borrow" foreign words and phrases, it's because it's considered cool or hip. English (or maybe more correctly, American culture) is considered in vogue in Japan, this extends to including English words in songs (not just anime related music) as well as clothing (such as T-shirts) with English (or even Engrish) text. |
