This whole new freezing is plot hax out of nowhere. I'm not just talking about characters, but new powers that come out of left field to save them. Every new thing we learn about freezing makes it sound like it's something completely different from what we've been told before. Transcendence was useless after the Legendaries showed up, but now all of a sudden it works again?

Even if there's a ship tease, the author could still make Kazuya end up with Stella in the end.

If you want to use Sword Art Online as an example, then I'd say there's a chance that Kirito will end up Asuna in the end despite all of the other girls who're in love with him also being there. The only girl in the series who can be a good rival to Asuna is Alice. Everyone else has already given up. And chances are, the virtual Kirito will stay with Alice in the virtual world while the real Kirito (Kazuto) will marry Asuna and live with her in the real world.

So anyway, yeah, even though there are other girls who also love Kazuya, and not just Stella, Kazuya could still end up with her in the end because she's still the main female lead and Freezing is a Shounen manga. Most Shounen series still follow the "First Girl Wins" Trope, and this one could, too.

We know that in the end these couples will happen. If not..., well, I won't go into that. The issue lies instead of continuing to build the relationship, SAO's author sees fit to introduce another female character, have her fall in love with the main, even though the guy is already in a relationship. Lim-Dall Young looks to be doing the same thing essentially, by making Kazuya into a harem master with this new freezing. It won't mean anything, other than to serve as an attempt to draw in more readers, instead of moving the story along.

Sword Art Online is partial Harem, that's why there's more than girl who's in love with the main male lead. And Kawahara isn't bringing any girls in anymore, from the looks of things. And like I said, other than Alice, none of the girls is a real love-rival to Asuna.

Kazuya isn't going to become a Harem Master or anything just because of this new ability. It just forces fake feelings that will disappear after the ability wears off, probably. And let's wait and see where this goes.

edit: never mind I saw it. Well it maybe just like a case of "hypnotism". Hopefully they would regain their full loyalty to their original partners. But I fear that it will have a permanent effect on Elizabeth and Arnett? I sure do hope not.

It's still cruel because he's basically stealing them from their Limiters. Like I said before, he has to be able to command the Pandora without having to use this new ability of his.

And yeah, this doesn't really count as NTR (netorare). It can be seen as netori, though, but that's not exactly it either because this isn't a Hentai manga. Netorare and notori are both terms that apply only to certain Hentai manga.

yep, and like I said, I hope Elizabeth and Arnett returns to normal, completely, and by that I mean, no traces of desire for kazuya, and regain loyalty to their original limiters. well, when it comes to "romance", as a pandora, they may be into kazuya, but as a human I think it's not the same. I mean as a human it is not out of their will to be controlled by Kazuya, physically or emotionally(of course this is just how it feels to me)

considering from what I've seen; it seems that many pandoras are really close to their limiters, so I wouldn't feel so bad, except for some cases. I'd even dare say most of them have slightly romantic affection for each other, in the least. And they were not under some similar control like kazuya's.


but I understand that this manga has always been relatively dark. so I won't be surprised if what I fear happens

Regarding Rana, from what I can see, it was one of those "love at first sight"-sort of encounter. But I see your point about stigmata, which is why I said that as a pandora they are devoted/linked to him(via-mind break lol jk), but as a human, Elizabeth and Arnett are loyal to their limiter. at least that's how I feel(and hope to be) for the most part.

Well, if it's only "as a Pandora," then I guess it's fine, although Kazuya does still have to become a good leader who can make the Pandora follow his orders due to his own charisma and other qualities as a leader, without having to use any sort of power to force them to submit to him. The problem is, though, that it's possible for the affection they feel for him even as just Pandora to also be able to extend to what they feel as humans, too.

well I hope not hahaha but that also came to mind. Poor limiters would be 3rd wheel in kazuya's new found"harem", I'll feel specially sad for Andre if that happens lol. Kazuya never wanted it in the first place, he looks guilty.

then again, like I said, this manga is relatively dark, so don't be surprised if that happens lol

Not all fans feel that way, mostly the ones with the "who cares as long as he's powerful" mindset. And there would be HELL to pay if Kazuya made all the Pandoras part of his "harem." You'd have the whole school in turmoil; the Limiters seeking his life, while their former partners fight against them to protect their "new master." If that happened with Elizabeth and Andre, that would be a travesty. And those that don't submit will likely be after Kazuya as well. Though unfortunately, his mother and his little sister will undoubtedly protect him from ALL repercussions, which would truly suck. So Kazuya basically could get away with murder, his family would protect him. But who's protecting everyone else? Do you see now how this could cause a lot more harm than good? I certainly hope so.

That would be very bad if it were the case. And I hope LDY doesn't go that route, or it'll cause a LOT of problems of Kazuya in the next arc, not to mention for the rest of the story. And for some fans, as Kurohane said earlier, it may be a case of too little, too late. I know people have given up on the story because Kazuya didn't become the MC they wanted, and this latest plot twist won't be enough to lure them back. A shame, it really is.

She's a woman, and women are supposed to be what make their men successful in life. They say, "Behind every great/successful man is a great woman", right? I think Satellizer should be like that for Kazuya.
