The police confirm that the previously sabotaged evacuation blocks are functional again. However, two new problems arise: First, AFO is on the move again. The second issue concerns Dabi.... since he began fighting Endeavor at Gunga, he's been concentrating his internal body heat this whole time. The police estimate that in about 10 minutes' time, Dabi will self-destruct, causing a gigantic heat blast that will incinerate everything within a five kilometer range! Even worse, some of the evacuation shelters are near Gunga, and are very much in danger of getting caught in Dabi's blast! And to make matters even worse, AFO is gaining speed, and is getting close enough to UA to use his teleportation quirk....!!!

With no other heroes able to mobilize in time, Tsukauchi begins to fall into despair.... when suddenly, he's contacted by someone over the radio. At Kamino, Shouto and Iida receive a transmission, as well.... from none other than All Might! He briefs them on their next task: Get to Gunga as quickly as possible, and stop Dabi's self-destruction! Shouto feels he's better suited to stop AFO, but AM gives both him and Iida a brief pep talk, saying they're the only ones who can stop Touya's madness and save Gunga at this point. Shouto is worried about Iida's engines overheating, but he assures him that the rain helped cool down the temperature.... and besides, his legs are to help guide lost children, which is what he'll do with Shouto. Indeed, young Todoroki rides on Iida piggyback, and they set off for Gunga! Stain watches the two young heroes as they rush to save the day....

As for who will face AFO? It's none other than.... ALL MIGHT. Tsukauchi tries to discourage him from doing so since he's quirkless, but that merely reminds the former top hero of his first meeting with Deku, who asked him if he could be a hero without a quirk. He also says this was always meant to be a fated showdown between him and AFO, so he steps out of his car with his suitcase, both of which transform into some weapons/armor for him. The chapter then ends with his famous line, I AM HERE....!!!!!!

The chapter starts with Geten and Compress, both of whom are imprisoned. Geten talks about the Himura family who, despite once being distinguished, lost much of its prestige as the age of quirks advanced. The clan was far too proud to consider mixing blood with outsiders, so they kept it "in the family", so to speak.... which resulted in the clan nearly going extinct. As a last ditch effort, they decided to "sell" their members into arranged marriages.... as we've seen with Rei. Why is Geten reciting this tale? Because he, too, is a member of the Himura lineage! Most of the family had died out by his generation, so he was taken in by Re-Destro. He then goes into the quirk singularity theory, explaining that sometimes the users themselves are unaware of their full potential.....

Meanwhile, we cut to Endeavor vs. Dabi, 800 meters outside of Gunga. The #1 hero received the news about Dabi's impending explosion, and is desperately trying to stop his son. However, Dabi is too far gone at this point, constantly yelling for his dad to watch him as he continues his relentless assault! Endeavor indeed watches him, imagining the younger Touya in his place. He then realizes that quirks undergo two types of phenomena when its user is at death's door: Either the preexisting ability undergoes an evolution, such as with Bakugou in the last war, or a new ability awakens altogether.... which Enji is seeing now in his eldest child. For you see, ice is forming from within Touya's chest.

He's indeed inherited his mother's quirk, after all. Endeavor recounts all the mistakes he's made in his life, and while he intended to live on in atonement, upon realization that Touya will never stop hurting innocent people, the hero decides there's only one course of action left: For the both of them to die together. Using his son's flames for added propulsion, Endeavor begins to rocket the both of them even higher to the air.... when suddenly, the both of them get cooled off by ice! And the one responsible for this is..... REI?!!!

Dabi is totally going to survive, isn't he? I'd normally say he's beyond saving with his body almost being burned into a crisp but he survived getting burned once, so....

Well I'm waiting for it to possibly happen in this chapter. Although I find it strange how are they going to redeem Dabi, when he's not in the right state of mind ever since and possibly won't be until he comes to realization that he needs to change for the better. You can only save yourself when you even reject the help that has their hands reached for you. And assuming Dabi hasn't infuriated anyone who still wants him dead outside of his own family. I do understand the fact that there is a chance for people like Dabi to be saved in Mangas like these, but it's a slim chance that most times doesn't get realized even in real life. That's part of the reason why I like specific superheroes who can understand the reality of saving people. They can save as much people as they can, but not everybody, in more than one way. Dabi will still life a life where his actions cannot be ignored if spared.

In a flashback, we see that Kendou and the other heroes have captured AFO's spies in the underground shelters. However, since the villains tampered with the system, the shelters are incapable of movement, so they have no choice but to escort the refugees to the surface. Once outside, everyone sees the gigantic sphere of heat created by Dabi, the Todoroki family included. In fact, upon laying eyes on it, the first action Rei takes is to hitch a ride on one of the UA security bots, asking him to take her to the heat source! Before leaving, she tells Natsuo to look after his big sister....

Back to the present, we return to where we left off last chapter (BTW, that robot gets disintegrated by the heat, sadly). Rei calls out to Touya despite getting burned, and refuses to back off despite Endeavor's protests. Interestingly, Touya recognizes his mother, despite his current state. And as it turns out, Rei wasn't alone.... as Natsu and Fuyumi followed her there! They, too, refuse to back away from their brother, as Fuyumi doesn't want to lose anyone else, and Natsu regrets ignoring his brother's rants when they were younger. Endeavor realizes that if he tries using firepower to fly at this point, Touya's body will reach its limit.... which is the last thing he wants, now that his family's there. The chapter ends with him having a vision of the family happily gathered together, including a smiling, healthy Touya.....

In this week's chapter:

We start with a literal bang, as Dabi finally begins to explode! However, the police note that the speed of the rise in temperature has slowed down.... not that it would stop the explosion, though. Speaking of Dabi, he sees Endeavor and the rest of the family and realizes they're finally watching him, like he had always wanted.... but wonders why something so seemingly simple never happened sooner.

Meanwhile, the rest of the heroes are still busy evacuating the civilians from the blast site (though Ochako is still busy fighting Toga). Everyone else is still watching the events unfold through their devices (or up close, like the news journalists). We also see these spectators begin to pray.... from "Look Boy" (that one young Endeavor fan) to some folks all the way in the Philippines. Some of the kids watching are still feeling optimistic though, because they know a certain individual has yet to appear..... and indeed, at the end of the chapter we see Shouto making his way to the blast site with Iida, his Phosphor mode activated....!!!

Welp, here we go again.... NO CHAPTER THIS WEEK. But on the plus side, apparently this break isn't related to Horikoshi's health, but rather because of an issue on the production side. Guess the chapter missed the deadline or something?

A bump, now that we're back:

Spoiler for 390:

Shouto and Iida arrive at the blast area, though the latter starts to reach his limits. Shouto helps him out with Phosphor, allowing them to reach transonic speed! Upon reaching their destination, Shouto goes off on his own from here. As he rushes toward the heat source, he thinks of the letters he wrote to his mother, which explain how his classmates helped him grow as both a hero and a person. Finally, he gets close enough to unleash a gigantic torrent of ice!

Finally, the heat dies down. That's when Shouto notices that the rest of his family are there, and realizes that they were also pivotal to stopping Dabi's explosion.... as he feels confident he wouldn't have stopped it himself. Speaking of Touya, it seems he regained his sanity somewhat, but still says the whole family should die.... himself included. Despite his words, Endeavor reaches out to his oldest boy and apologizes for not being there for him that night at Sekoto Peak. Touya still professes his hatred for the family, but Endeavor merely tells his boy to speak his mind all he likes, and apologizes to the rest of the family for his past mistakes, as well. At the end of the chapter, Toga sees the flames dying out, and wonders if Dabi was finally able to smile, after all. However, she still finds herself contending with a fiercely determined Uraraka....!!!!

....However, this chapter leads to YET ANOTHER BREAK. At least we got notified about it this time though, lol. Hori actually addressed the breaks himself in the author's comments, apologizing for their frequency. However, he promises to power through to the story's end... which worries me a bit, because I'd rather he not push himself too hard if his health is indeed the reason for all these breaks in the first place.

This is what I've been afraid of this whole time. He's clearly pushing himself to finish the story because he probably feels he'll never be able to get back to it if he takes a big break to recover. He's making the same mistake Kubo did, I wouldn't be surprised if we end up with a super rushed ending because he can't take it anymore.

Well it looks like Dabi is done for as a threat. He's most likely dying though as I'm not sure how he is supposed to survive in his current state.

I want as an ending as much as the next guy, but not at the expense at Hori's health. I really hope he's not feeling the pressure to push himself too much, but that's not likely considering how gruesome being a Shonen Jump writer can be.

With Dabi having finally been dealt with, we return focus to the next immediate threat: Toga. Unfortunately, most of the currently active heroes are struggling against the sheer numbers of the Sad Man's Parade! Ochako, however, manages to find the real Toga from among the clones, and grabs onto her with her wire!

Talk no jutsu time! Ochako tells Toga that she hasn't known her for very long, but her opinion of her has changed over time. She also has her own theory as to why the villain can't use 100% of the powers of the quirks she copies..... it's because her killing intent dilutes the feelings of "love" she has for the people she transforms into. In other words, it's not quite the same as Tsuyu's earlier theory about Toga not having enough love for Shigaraki and the others. Ochako also came to this conclusion after seeing Toga's tears and hearing the Twice clones' constant chant of "exterminate the heroes". However, her words only enrage the villain, who tells her she known nothing about her true feelings....!!!!

Hmm, short chapter this week (only nine pages). So I guess this is meant to be Hori's compromise in response to all the sudden breaks....?

A tad late, but bump for the next chapter:

Spoiler for 392:

Suddenly emerging from the sea of Twices is none other than a battered Tsuyu! The enraged Toga tells Ochako that the hero had an easy life compared to her.... which launches us into a flashback. We see the younger Himiko's parents attempt to suppress her cravings for blood, using such measures as taking her to a counselor in an attempt to make her "normal". However, one day, while taking a stroll through a park, Toga sees various people expressing their "love" in various ways, which makes her confused.... and thus, further strengthens her cravings. After going out of control again, her parents pretty much turn on their child, saying they gave birth to something inhuman.....

Back in the present, Toga sees a specter of Curious (aka that reporter lady she killed), who reminds her how she was forced to wear a mask in public for so long. It's at that moment that Ochako manages to pull her in close with her wire, while Jirou appears to save Tsuyu! But there's a problem.... this Tsuyu is a clone! Thankfully, the real Froppy is safe (having been saved by Kamui), but now they have to contend with clones of Tsu AND Jirou, the latter's blood having been taken by the clones (remember, she had a fresh wound from fighting AFO earlier).

The real Tsu tries to talk no jutsu them out of this situation, begging Toga to listen to Ochako. But the villain's response.... is to STAB Uravity!!! She tells the heroes that they're different from each other, and is tired of being judged by society! The chapter ends with a flashback of the original Twice asking Toga if she picked a villain name for herself.....

Oh, and BREAK TIME once more. But again, at least we get an announcement this time....
