The lack of panellines isn't a bad point in my view. going by my Wing Zero, the old wing-kits were a bit overpanelled, if you know what i mean. and they aren't deep enough... so this is an improvement.

Here is a pic of D-Hell old 1/100 scale to help with measurements.. They are all same size when they came out long ago in 1/100 scale i also have Wing Zero in the old 1/100 scale and its head to toe same length but not with the packs. So its 17cm up its shoulder, 16.2cm to its V fin on D-Hell.

Okay, this says one LED unit is included, and optionals have to be purchased. However, it says that four LEDs are needed. I understand the other GN drive requiring a single LED, but how many LEDs have to be actually bought? Where do the other two go? And is it a total of 4 LEDs we're talking about here, or 5?

i could see the head lighting up, both the regular NG version and the designer color version have a cavity in the torso where you can put LED units (the regular NG has to be slightly modified though). plus, with the head they were doing a pretty good job with light tunneling. they could keep the head the way it is! but thats just 3 LEDS... where could they put the other ones? :O |

Anyone notice that the clear blue part that was on the GN Sword II has been changed to a clear green ala Seven Sword style? Also, how are they going to fit the head LED?
I do notice that the back where the 0 Raiser fits has been modified... it looks like the 0 Raiser's angle is more parallel with the body, making it take less real estate than it should be (unlike the HG models where it stuck out).

I'd rather just swap between the two rather than have to worry about having several LEDs at once. Also not too sure whether I want the head LED or not.

So where exactly will 00 Raiser's head LED be? Seems like it has to be in the backpack to allow some room for the cockpit to open, along with some sort of clear piece channel...
That, or the LED has to be totally different from the other LEDs. More pictures after the jump: Spoiler:

God, the 00 MG looks so good. I already ordered 2 of it on hobbysearch, so I can have both 00 Gundam and 00 Raiser in 1/100 Glory
One a side note: I recently build a lot of HGUC kits, like the Kshatryia, the Marasai, the Gundam MK II, the GP01 and GP02. I would like to recommend them to anyone that is in interested in the UC time line. The quality and articulation of the MK II surprised me the most, considering it's age. |
