Well, I didn't put this moe tournament yet, so why not. Can't really find any other recent "big" tournaments after this one...

Games are competitions and from the riddle it seemed like it involved violence/beating other people in order to ultimately win.

The only thing I saw working was taking the last sound of each line, and it sounds similar to something, but I'm probably just blinded by my fan-brain:

Rika Furude from Higurashi? Yeah, I took a little leap with the last word seeing as it wasn't a sound, but oh well. The series as a whole pretty much fits the riddle with 'fate' and it being a 'game' and all.

Alright, but you may not like it as much. Since I already explained the biggest indicator which were the sounds at the end spelling out Rika Furude above, I can only explain the rest with redundant details since my understanding of these tournaments themselves is limited.

Indicating it was a battle against multiple people, I instantly thought of various character tournaments that could have fit. From what I can understand, the whole point of these Saimoe tournaments is to pin two popular characters together in a voting match and the winner gets to go on to the next round until the finale, so it's a pretty fitting description. Putting Rika and the Anime Saimoe tournaments together, I found that she won in 2007 with a quick search. I also see the whole riddle itself from her point of veiw going through that tournament, all the other people she had to beat and what she had to endure. Rika's chances were also very low due to the sheer amount of girls, hundreds of them in the tournament, so she needed a lot of luck.

Anime Saimoe Tournaments seem to be pretty popular and well recieved and many of these girls have much acclaim to be in the tournament. Obviously, fans of a certain character and their series will defend them like no other, with campaigns and the likes to get their character more votes, and may hate Rika if she's going up against their characters. The final line foreshadows her achievement and also a slight nudge at Higurashi's theme of fate and destiny.

The first line seems to be calling out to all the Rika fans that voted for her and that you the voter could have actually helped her made a difference (which they did). Once again, the second line seems to be a slight reference to Higurashi with 'blood and tears,' which symbolized all the other girls that had to have lost after making it so far. Everyone tried to help define fate as much as they could, the voters and the girls.

But in the end, the winner was Furude Rika indicated by the final sounds of each line, something akin to the series of Higurashi where she was granted a miracle.
