I don't think so really --- if there's going to be a realtionship then maybe, though i can't see that happening. If it does, then hopefully it'll build up well.

I think we'll most likely get to see her either at the end of episode 7 (cliffhanger style, kind of like Viral's entrance in episode 6), or in episode 8. With all the hints and knowing the staff working on the next episode most likely the first "arc" or atleast a "key" event will occur in the next two episodes.

If someone cares, Gainax's website reveals Nia VA as Yukari Fukui, who Gainax fans may remember as... Diebuster's Nono. The same page also says this month's NewType has 7 pages on Lagann, hopefully we get a Sushio spread or something.

Nope, this month there's no illustration according to the Newtype HP. But there is 7 pages of set material (chara& mecha design).
