You should rethink yours statement. For example this is a
Warhammer model Those models (metal and plastic) are made in 28 (bigger) scale, which means a model of an average human is 28 mm high. Model on the photo is a model of a monster, substancially bigger, but it's at max 10 cm high. I was converting and painting such models once, so claymore models looks for me... lets say, funny.

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this, but Claymore: Complete Series Box Set [Blu-ray] is being release in February.
It's cheaper than Claymore: Complete Series Box Set, lol. Claymore wasn't aired in HD, right? So this is probably a really poor upscale.

Made back in 2007, so at the very least it has a digital master. Digital masters started to become the norm in Japan in 2005. That's all you really need for a good upconvert. It's really up to the authoring house from there. Unfortunately, Funimation does their own authoring, which is a hit or miss depending to the title.
