I'll bet people haven't thought of this, but I have to wonder how the anime will treat Ellet. I mean, she was a pretty funny character in the game, and her manga counterpart is just as humorous, so I wonder if they'll keep to her character in the anime.

Maybe they'll dedicate an entire episode of her interviewing the members of Squad 7 (and not just the core members). That'd be pretty interesting, and it'd present a chance to see each member's personality.

And then there's Hans the pig... definitely should provide some laughs.

But yeah, the game had really nice weapon concepts and the anime is a bit of a let down in that area.

Yes, awesome screenshot, I love her anime character design there, her anime form should work out good.

Also, (I may have missed it being revealed in a previous image recently but) it's freaking fantastic that they've seemingly implemented somewhat of the Canvas Engine's sketched look into the show now looking at these couple of images. I had kind of gotten used to the idea that we wouldn't get it because it would be difficult unlike with the game but it's actually nicely somewhat present now, my excitement keeps going up for this show as we see more stuff especially now that it's not going to be a ridiculously short 12/13 eps.

A lot of recruitable characters appear (especially popular ones).
There are talking scenes between main characters and recruitable characters.
Female recruitable characters basically wear a skirt.
Original empire side episode.
Selvaria arc's character (Carl?) relates with the main plot.
Gregor plays an active part, especially in the early episodes.
The story development is defferent from Irene's Gallic Chronicle.
Squad 1 (Fardio's) is composed of original and recruitable characters.
Weapons which are seen cruelly like flamethrower don't appear as much as possible.

I took heart in the fact that it seems not to be only triangle love at least.

I still haven't decided which set of names I'll prefer, direct romanisation of the japanese names, or the official english names from the game. Some of them are significantly different.

That is very awesome news... I do hope they flesh out Selvaria and Alicia's backstories a little more than what was covered in the game.

The romance will be mainly focused on Welkin and Alicia? ln my own opinion: That comes as a surprise. lt's the racial abuse that lsara and her kin received which was the best aspect for the game. The interactions with Rosie and lsara were truthfully amazing. Talking about Romance. The Valkyria, Selvaria. And the commander who was in charge of Gallia's invasion force--lt'll be great if the anime went more into depth about their stories and the romanticism between them.

Since they're straying away from Ellet's version of the story I assume certain events, like the ones around Chapter 10 may be absent or replaced.
