WTF are you talking about? We are talking about the people who actually worked on the anime in the credits not some fansubber. Get with the program.
Says the one who's apparently going off topic. The whole thread is about credits vs. no credits in fansubs. People in the industry are not going to be affected one bit by fansubbers using creditless OPs/EDs, so the entire argument about whether credits matter to them is irrelevant.

I am afraid I am gonna have to ask all of you to drop the arguments here and now. If you can't disagree with someone without resorting to insults and/or sarcastic remarks, then don't bother posting to begin with.

Any more off topic comments about being off topic will also be deleted.

I personally don't mind either; I skip OPs and EDs anyway. I guess you could provide both, and allow the leecher to switch between them. I can also imagine a creditless OP/ED allows for slightly smaller files, but insignificantly so.

I asked the staff at Tezuka Animation Studio what they thought about it, and all of them believes that the credits should be left in, and creditless versions are at best an extra.

Just opinions, of course. But opinions of actual Japanese animators working at an animation studio.

P.S. I caught one of them watching a fansub of Naruto once, though (the fact there were english subs was irrelevant, just that it was easiest for them to watch on an illegal english streaming site). So I suppose that invalidates their opinions as well since they are simultaneously dirty pirates as well as the creators.

Did you actually go and ask them just to answer this question...?

I work for Tezuka productions and use their editing studio in their lab for working with digitbeta tapes when those are source material.
