Wait a second. Why does that live action trailer have Americans in it? Isn't this a Germany VS Russia game?

The live action trailer isn't for Company of Heroes 2. It's for the Company of Heroes movie, which will be a direct-to-DVD release.

ooooooooooooh, that makes sense.

...does seem a bit odd to turn what's a fairly generic World War 2 setting game into a movie, rather than just making a movie!

Seems interesting at least.

Well, the good news is that COH2 and Relic were both acquired by Sega, but it sounds like there will be a bit of a delay in the release of the game while the studio transitions to new ownership.

Now if Sega can also get the rights to Homeworld back to relic.... that'd be awesome :3

For those that wonder in the future. It's like Dawn of War, you can play original, expansion #1, #2, etc. But there will be far less people varying between these for multiplayer.

From what I've heard, Velasco delivers in fine form with the soundtrack. On which note, I was recently made aware that the first game has not one, but two soundtracks, which are legitimately freely available direct from source... well, Steam, actually.
