you don't have that many people who can teach kids how to pilot highly destructive civilianized military weapons. And not only live to tell the tale but absolutely keep them in line. While still making sure they learn history and literature.

recognized as a genius and did research for the government at a younger age. Still attended middle school for some semblance of a normal life. Met Chifuyu, then went on to build the first IS, was laughed at then got Chifuyu to pilot the REAL first infinite stratos. Then ran off with the remains of her funding and all relevant gear provided to her then.

You forgot the fact that she made the White Knight with no funding. Before the White Knight incident, nobody believed her and thought she was a loony (Well, she still is.) Now, how did she make the WK with no funding, materials, or manpower at 14?

I can only imagine that the first core was already done. No actual field tests were performed but the data provided by core #001 was enough to actually show the power of Infinite stratos. The first infinite stratos built looked like a space-suit. I now suggest that it wasn't an infinite stratos like we all know but a test frame for the core to power. The government believed the uses were limited and meaningless. And again, Tabane took the remains of her research and funding to complete the WK frame for core #001 as well as finish the other 466 cores. It may sound impossible but it's more improbable because all the tools were already provided, all she had to do was make the best of them.

Yes. All IS turn weapons to data to for storing. If it's stuck outside, then the speed suffers.

I think it'll suffer if it had a giant weight on it's back. Laura's is the slowest IS for this reason.

Well, more or less it's impractical when you have an Aerial unit, as groundbound unit the configuration not that bad.

Aerial type I.S. requiring the unit to be top heavy with large booster/wings mounted in the back (or per rule of cool, floating around the back). Well, aerodynamic is less an issue in lower speed, but we're talking about I.S. so the drag would still noticeable.

Meanwhile, surface use unit can be top heavy (Schwarzer Regen) or bottom heavy (Uchigane), but shoulder booster is deemed impractical in such design, preferring back-mounted large booster on in case of Uchigane, a skirt booster.

It's meant to be a flight capable unit. It emits charged particles from its propulsion system. The various weapons are used to manipulate these particles. The propulsion system would be capable of providing itself energy.

They buy it themselves, because someone mention different brand and different model in V2 (Midriff barring being Greek design). Therefore, specific sizes (SS, S, M, L, LL, XL etc) should be available.
