Hopefully they take what they learned from the first game, DW7, and Orochi 3 for a vastly improved Ken's Rage. It was fun but it could use some love.

AS for content, apparently it's going to be massive compared to the first game which was pretty long on its own.

i really love the first one; played it to DEATH and gotten platinum from it already. when this game comes to NA/EU, first day buys here.
i'm really happy that they announced Ken's Rage 2. cant wait for it now!

i'm excited to see who they're going to add for playable characters now. and more
contents are ALWAYS welcome.

Fist of the North Star: Ken’s Rage 2 will offer players a variety of modes and new features:

1. Legend mode, follows the storyline of the entire manga, starting with a re-imagined version of ‘Raoh’ and covering ‘Celestial Emperor’ and ‘Land of Shura’. This faithful adaptation ensures that this mode can be enjoyed by both fans of the manga and new comers to Kenshiro’s post-apocalyptic world. Different characters will be controlled for each episode while ‘boss’ encounters will feature entire famous scenes from the manga, recreated in intricate detail.

2. Over 20 playable characters will be available, including Falco, Shachi, Shew and Juza.

3. Dynamic new moves. The destructive power of the techniques of Hokuto Shinken and Nanto Seiken meet the intense action of the Warriors series to produce a thrilling experience. In addition to the signature moves of the first title, new actions such as ‘sprint’ and ‘dodge’ have been added to the move sets.

4. Dream Mode introduces new, original storylines to the Fist of the North Star Universe while bridging the gaps between parts of the main story, often focusing on some of the series’ minor characters.

5. Online Co-Op and Versus play. For the first time, Dream Mode will be playable in co-op or versus play via the internet.

In addition, a variety of character costumes, and stages will be available as downloadable content.

Fist of the North Star: Ken’s Rage 2 is also being developed for the Wii U and the release date will be announced at a later time.

cool, i'm looking forward to this so call Versus play. i really hope it's like a 1-on-1 battle
against a human or CPU players offine and online. still waiting on Rin being playable or not.

i downloaded this game yesterday on PSN. funny thing was, there were 2 versions to download.
One with no bonus and one with bonus: both $60. >______>

luckily i bought the one with bonus. if you have bought the one without, you're screw and probably
have to contact them for refund or something.

but anyways, i play a little with the story mode yesterday as Kenshiro. the combat
feels a little more faster pace now. i think the graphic is a little better than ken rage 1.
i'm not too sure much though since it looks kind of the same. i was playing Mamiya
for the free mode. i notice there was this HUGE boss on about stage 3, but forgive his name.
how in the world you beeat this thing? whenever i get close to him, he started pounding the floor.
if there are any advise to how to beat him, please tell me. also, Mamiya is really WEAK
when i play as her. took really long to just beat those little bosses.

Got the game finished Thouser/Souther chapter.

The graphics are still the same, but a bit more manga. Clothes do not rip anymore besides Mamiya's LOL!!! Haven't seen Rin's yet, no more jump button, became a dash, dodge button, a more simplier alignment system with using scrolls depending if you are getting A's you'll get better scrolls,some missions have you protecting Bat and Rin and other people from goons, finisher switching by a D-Pad and lastly the gameplay is a bit better than the first one. They traded the jump for dodge/dash.

Pros

Faster gameplay
More characters, unlockable to use
Graphics manga/anime based, but basically still the same
Easier scroll character upgrade system
No more stupid platforming jumps and obstacles on certain stages

Cons

Clothes don't rip anymore, you just get bruises
Tons of cutscenes, manga style in Legend mode
Lots of costumes DLC. $40 to download the others!
Camera problem in boss fights or with thugs
