Well, this was tons of fun! Really nice visuals, really nice character designs (duh), really nice animation, fun story, overall really fun. This episode felt kind of like a more lighthearted version of Darker than Black, with more tokusatsu.
The only thing I didn't like was Kikko being such a stereotypically "silly girl" character, I found that a bit grating. Hopefully they'll dial it back later on, going by the future(?) scenes. |

LOL, this was funny, at least the transformation scenes.
Somehow, I found myself laughing more than expected. The colors and artwork of the show feels a bit cartoonish imo but overall matching quite well for its themes. Looking forward to more!

Episode 1
Wow. This was a lot of things. Jiro is part of a superhero protection group who protects superheroes. This is the first time I'm seeing superheroes being protected. Jiro is a normal human with a weird looking transformer. He looks cool though, but what is up with that pink hair? So Jiro will leave the bureau some time later for some reason. They showed him leaving now and they'll get back to the reason later, I hope. This was fun. It had some points where I had no idea what was going on, but still fun. The animation is good as expected of Bones. And everything is so colourful. Nice stuff here so far. |

This pretty much summed the first ep up for me too. Pretty lost as to what was happening, but ... well, I kinda liked it? I wonder where they will be going with the story, though.... Hmm.

The flashy coloring bothers me, but the character designs are favorable. I guess this is one of those Penguindrum or Yurikuma things where everything is overly stylish and complicted...
Switching between different time periods without any notice is a put-off, but overall, it wasn't a bad first episode. I would like to give it a couple more episodes. And while I did like the way this was drawn (NSFW?)... I wasn't able to see my own collarbone when I tried to look down
