Since got suggestion for electric and fire elements why not add other elements as well.

Ice element may works effective against water-manipulative Mysterious Lady.

Likely help the pilot on her flight movement, I suppose. Also, wind-related weapon seems plausible for an IS.

Not really sure about that. Perhaps only normally effective but in the hand of capable pilot, it can do great damage same as the other IS.

The reason I put ice-element is that any attempt from Tatenashi to use her water-manipulation ability is likely backfired when facing ice-element IS.

You can always just use an HF oscillation blade to destroy the nanomachines inside the water.

Which means that there's always a way to seek the weaknesses for each IS.

No. It just means there are less convoluted ways to conquer the IS. It's just that we prefer overkill where I'm from.

IS cores are actually more like the Spirit Stones of the Eldar in Warhammer 40000 in terms of appearance and function. As for their origins, they are actually baseball-sized EVAs.
