E3H done, it took me 8 run for the first part (without notable drop), 19 run for the second part (got 2 Kasuga-Maru) and 13 run for the last part (the only good drop were 2 Uzuki). The last part was kind of easy until the last dance so it might be a good plane for find I-400. Now it to choose which difficulty I should go for E4, I am not sure if the 2 additional screws, the shiden kai4 and the 2 action report are worth to do it on hard instead of normal.

E-2 done, easy diff because fuck this cancerous event.
Overall just your standard transport map, but with those two air raid nodes and the double Ta-class in node L just made me forget about the toukai and just go kuso. Now onto tackle E-3, and then to think who should I pray to so I can get trough E-4. |

Did e1+e2 on normal and am atm finishing up e3 on easy - the LBA there isn't worth the extra trouble of hard mode imho.
Meanwhile I'm wondering about the Abyssal Fusou sisters... Yamashiro looks kinda odd. Fusou looks perfectly fine...but Yashiro's face looks kinda wierd compared to Fusous And Yamashiro's own, non abyssal, face. Edit: E4 Medium is Cancer. Pretty much two days passed and I'm still trying to unlock all the nodes. How the fu are you supposed to A or S rank a Fleet containing freaking PT imps in night battle. That being said, you can actually bring a carrier there if you want to - you just have to forsake Mogami for it. Sadly not really an option for me because the DD department of my Nishimura girls is badly levelled.

The most annoying part is loosing one of your fleets though. With fleet 1 sitting idle you can't even put a fleet aside for Bucket runs. Also one of the event quests apparently requires Michishio K2. Edit: is it just my imagination or is E4 -N easier when you got the strike force command center? Fusou: Proto 41 *3, 38cmK*6, APS, Zuin12a Yamashiro: Proto 41 (no stars), 38cm*6, Kyufuu K, Zuin 12a Mogami: Night recon, 20.3(3)*4.20.3(3)*4, SeaplaneFighterK Teruzuki: 13ARK, 10cm+AACI*4, 10cm+AACI*2 Akatsuki: Poi gun, Poi gun, Star Shell Yuudachi: Poi gun *6, Poi gun, 22SRK4 Shigure: 61cmQuint, 33SR, Skilled Lookout For some reason I can no longer get them past node S. I have no idea whether this is due to the above mentioned loadout being a change from the one I used before or if I am just unlucky all of a sudden... Diff to Before: Fusou didn't have the AP shell but the Strikeforce Command Center Akatsuki had the 33SR isntead of the Star Shell Shigure had the following Setup: Quint, the 61 cm Torp with +armor and Evasion, Star Shell Maybe there is a hidden bonus on the Strike Force command center I don't know about but my problems started with the changes... First it was Akatsuki twice in a row, then it was Fusou (which meant auto retreat). My problem is: I can't kill the BadLuck Sisters boss. It always survives with around 20-60HP

E3H CLEARED! Tho, to be honest my expectations of actually doing it in yasen were low as seen below:
At this point, KTKM finishing the small fry was just a day's work. Do you know what's better than just clearing a map? This: One of the reasons I tried doing it on Hard and did it: Now, the Gates of Hell have been opened: Resources from event start to start of E3 Before E1 Fuel: 299210 Ammo: 280469 Steel: 283722 Bauxite: 140325 Buckets: 1802 Before E3 Fuel: 294858 Ammo: 283156 Steel: 286423 Bauxite: 136958 Buckets: 1711 Resources after E3 clear: Fuel: 257320 Ammo: 262233 Steel: 275133 Bauxite: 115587 Buckets: 1541 E3 is where I started not doing the daily quests and also using support expeds, first for transport phase (only En Route exped) and the Last Dance of Phase 3 (BOTH), hence the hard hit on fuel and bauxite. Replay of last battle of E3 for those who cares

Warning in advance, because at least the English Wiki doesn't mention it in the patchnotes or event pages:
Support Fleet Mechanics have been changed. In order to get Shelling Support you must now take a fleet like: 3 FBB, 1CVL, 2 DD or 2BB, 1CA, 1CVL, 2DD i.e. you can no longer take 2 CV with you, otherwise it turns into an Aerial support fleet. Taking 3 CAV will make it a Torpedo Support fleet. Another thing you need to be careful about from now on is to not use too many BBVs, they can turn a Shelling Fleet into an Aerial support Fleet too. Edit: Fuck this. Entombed AA Princess in the Mid-boss' final formation on normal?! What the fu Tanaka?...

Finally found out what the new formation is for and why thyou shouldn't use it on the Boss node (Basically weakens your BBs). Oh well I gotta see it from the positive side. At least I know that it wasn't the APShell less setup now.

Unlocking the ZZ nodes is a pain in the ass and you have to switch between the 3 Fleets several times. Also, make good use of the new formation, its good against pretty much everything but the boss and air nodes. (Also decent on air nodes btw). Also there is no need to go for the new Torpedo-Radar Cut in on Shigure. 2 Tops and the lookout are more than sufficient given her high luck. Other than that better prepare a duck. On medium you need at least 3 Destroyers to reach the boss.

E3H cleared...
TIFU by not checking AD Hime's armor in LD. It took me 5 LD attempts before I realized her armor had increased. After swapping in Yukikaze, I'm suddenly hit by random taihas. So, it took me another 4 runs to actually reach the boss node to finish her off. All in all, it took about 13 runs to finish this part... On the bright side, I had better luck for the transport and CV hime phases. Transport phase took 7 runs (1 retreat) and CV Hime took 6 (1 retreat). Well, time to take a break... |

Having done part 1 of E4 I'm right now wondering what the heck they are thinking with the requirement to S-rank San Bernadino Strait, aka Z6. They have to be kidding me, at the end of that long route you need to S-rank a battle with insane AS requirement due to the four flagship Nu plus two BBH?

Does the Japanese Wiki say anything about a E4 Boss Debuff?
Sorry but I can't imagine how people actually manage to kill the Night Strait hime with the Nishimura Fleet. Using torpedo Cut ins is fucking useless too because you start the battle at night, so the likelyhood of your DDs actually going up against the Hime with their cut ins is almost zero. Edit: Finally... Almost done with the Map. Night Straight Princess went down the moment I put in Yamato instead of Yamashiro (although the one who killed her was Fusou) - Yamato likely just did the 46 extra dmg that were always missing. Edit: Total Sorties to E4-N up to now are at 52; Pls note that I still need to do the true boss though.
