The developments that transpired throughout the fifth episode they should've had put them three episodes earlier.

I truly cringed at the edge of my seat when Saya delivered the coup de grace into the giant eyeball's eye; way messed up manner to die.

And, we were so close at getting the truth about Saya's memories.

The teacher's ghost story was the most suggestive about what Saya gut knew within herself about the origins of the Furukimono; the truth lies in the contract, but once it is learned then there's no turning back for Saya.

They didn't bother censoring (or it was an omission), probably because it was a tiny 0.5 second clip.

it is obvious that they are targeting Saya, including using her friends

The most badass episode extremely censored. I guess this was the cause of the delay.

Damn. That was some twisted stuff. Gibs, gibs, gibs.

What's up with her dad? He just gives her the sword and she takes it to SCHOOL? WTF?

And her dad is really good at cleaning stuff up.

x.x I didn't mind the censorship much tbh.

I always found Saya hot but wtf I didn't expect her to be that loaded as far as assets go.

Next episode might have some plot movement. This one was more like nothing but gore to pacify the calm before the storm we had for 5 episodes.

This show's only good when it comes to showing death. The fear and panic is very well executed. It's not pretty. There's no hint of romanticisation of fighting, as there is in some other shows. Everything good and kind seems so false. I'm sure that's partly deliberate. It's the partly I worry about. Wasn't too impressed with that episode, to be honest.

Spoiler: The flashback about the red-blood cells is an abstract representation to Saya's call of blood, followed by the sound of a heartbeat. It's a symbolic metaphor to denote that Saya's is reaching close proximity to her awakening; awakening of many things, including the truth. The teacher's ghost story was the most suggestive about what Saya gut knew within herself about the origins of the Furukimono; the truth lies in the contract, but once it is learned then there's no turning back for Saya. Spoiler: Her life as a happy schoolgirl and her life as steeled hunter of the night have finally intertwined by cruel twist of fate by the unwelcomed and unexpected, sudden arrival of a Furukimono that threatens Nene' life, hence, Saya's closest people have finally become involved.
