Tochiro (from MW) has tried to post links to our Official Unofficial Macross World Speaker Podcast here as well, and has had his posts deleted, and has been threatened with a ban.

Macross SpeakerPodCast is posted on Macross World (And I'm on every episode of that except Episode 1, and the second half of Episode 3), and The Veef Show is on Collection DX (in which I only appear sporadically...together, Andrew ("Veef") and I covered Macross Zero, Stratos 4 (a MUST-LISTEN for Macross and Robotech fans! BELIEVE ME!!!), and now the in-progress three-part Macross Music podcasts. But Andrew's interview with Renato about the 1/55 Takatoku Valkyrie toy is also a MUST-LISTEN!!!).

I believe Tochiro is looking into getting a website for the Macross SpeakerPodCast, but it hasn't happened yet.

No, absolutely NO.

May'n has nothing close to Utada Hikaru's voice.

Quite a bit, she actually screws up the voice she's trying to pull off. She needs more practice for covers. Otherwise, she has potential...

Well, she certainly has lost that certain pudgyness she had for some time. Deculture!

Uh, I doubt she was trying to imitate Utada's voice. That would be an insult to May'n's talent.

That being said, I was never much of a fan for Utada's gig. She is slow, and has no power.

Oh, and I would pay to see this live. May'n gave it so much energy, passion & power!!

I like Utada's version better, but this was pretty awesome, nonetheless.
Also, cool jacket!

Hmmm... May'n & Evangelion... There could be something, there...

So...anyone who listened to it... did you like it? We're going to record Part 2 (covering the '90s) later this week.

I did download it. But I have kind of an innate dislike of podcasts, I don't know hoe to explain it... I'll be sure to give it a listen, tho.

I used to listen to their songs years ago. They've seemed to vanish from my mind though.

Uh, maybe they could've done more animation for the dancing but otherwise, the lips sync is way off. That's my only comments.

Oh, and I haven't downloaded the podcast. I've been too busy to actually listen to one full-heartedly lately. School is a major bummer. I can write replies but not organize my hard drive... ugh.

Listened to all of them, fun and very informative so thanks for taking the time, since boy, they were long. Will you be doing a review of the Musicalture on the podcast too, after you've seen it?

Polls: voted for Yousei, Shinkuu no Diamond Crevasse, Nyan Nyan Service Medley, Nothern Cross and Aimo - Tori no Hito.

From the movies and the christmas album I like Pink Monsoon, Obelisk, Universal Bunny, Koi wa Dogfight, Hoshi Kira, Sayonara no Tsubasa, Liebe, Tablet and Song Bird.

And my all time favorites from Macross to this day are Ai oboete imasu ka, Runner (Makoto Fujiwara version), Tenshi no Enogu, Idol Talk, Information High, After in the Dark, Voices, My Friends (and pretty much any song Chie sings), Holy Lonely Night, Dynamite Explosion, Parade, Angel Voice and Arkan.

The only songs I can think of that I didn't like were Power to the Dream, and the Maaya versions of Triangler and Aimo (despite liking Maaya).

Thank you! And yes, I will...but probably not with VF5SS. I'll be doing it on the "Macross Speaker Podcast," which is at Macross World, hosted by Tochiro, Save, Renato, and myself (with occasional special guests, like Tim Eldred and Matt Alt...and a SUPER SPECIAL guest upcoming next year, when we do our "Macross Zero" episode. HINT: I've had dinner with him).

I'll be on the look out for it then. I have to say I'm not really impressed with the song samples on the site and the only voice samples I liked were from the guys, Charlotte, maybe Sakura and el. I'd still pay to see it though and get a CD with the songs. Japanese live's are a hit and miss with me usualy.
