Getting tickets for animelo?

For those that know about animelo, I'm going to japan around that time of year and would love to go, would anyone know how to go about getting tickets?

You can get them online, but it's not open yet. General tickets will start being sold June 19th. You need a Japanese address and you get the ticket from Lawson's, which are everywhere in Japan from what I've been told.

Pretty sure these tickets are random, so you could get arena seats or 4kai seats. If you want better seats, you use Yahoo Auctions. You can get cheaper, crappier seats there as well.

I have a fear of heights, anything higher than 1kai is a no-no. ._.

Mmm I see, well, obviously I don't have a japanese address, so, is there anything I can do to get around that?

By the way you said tickets are random, but if you buy two tickets for one show they'll be next to each other right? Planning on going with a relative

Oh, know someone with a Japanese address? Or there's something else...

Er, I honestly don't know. I've only spoken to two people who went and one got her ticket off Yahoo while the other has a relative living in Japan and went to the concert by herself.

Sorry. orz

*reviving thread*

Well, just got my ticket for Animelo Day 2 (would love to go to Day 1 too, but I'm already kinda broken ) and I've a question for those who have already been there : does the staff check the name on the ticket when you enter the Arena? I mean, I wouldn't worry too much if I was asian because they would certainly didn't pay much attention, but being very much European I would have a hard time making anyone believe my name is Kyoko (the name on the ticket I got through auctions) .
So... any risk I get trouble according to you? :/

Nope, they gotta let 30,000 people in within 2 hours, so they won't care about IDs. They focus on checking your bags for cameras anyway. And I think they already know about auctions, it's impossible to stop that, so they just close one eye.

Let's meet up! xD

I feel so relieved …(*´-д-)フゥ-3. That's exactly what I thought when I bought the ticket (too many people, not enough time to check etc.) but when I received the ticket this morning I wasn't so sure anymore.

Thanks jouttex ( ≡▽≡). And yeah we should meet! I've kind of a crappy seat so I doubt we will enter by the same gate, but maybe we could wait outside together, or something : ).

Edit: Bananoha, you're the best~

Probably too much . Even though I tried to get one on Piatcickets, their server crashed-down the minute of the general release (too many connexions) and 10 minutes after it was all sold out . So I got a second-hand one for...*pm*
