Macross dear, Macross!
The Type-21s are much larger then the 9th Generation and lower.
The pilot's compartment never moves from it's position during the transformation process.
Thus the pilot is in the "belly" of the KMF rather than on it's back while in KnightMare Mode.

The KMFs from the anime are much smaller than say a Gundam or Valkyrie from Macross.
My KMFs are in between those two.

Lol, I am pretty sure I have stated already that a Gundam would squish the average Knightmare.

Although truthfully, if you apply it into the real world, production of KMFs are more plausible than Gundams.

i thought you said that the KMF's in your story are SMALLER then normal KMF's
when what you actually ment was that normal KMF's are much smaller then gundams

Yep, that is what I meant.

The inspiration for my fanfiction machines comes from three mecha-anime.

Patlabor;



Megazone-23 Part III;



and Macross II (Lovers Again);



Code Geass KMFs remind me of the Garland Transformable motorbike from Megazone 23;




The Garland and Hargan are about the same size as a KMF, and use similar weaponry (though no Slash-Harken's).
Not sure if that's where the idea for the Code Geass KMF comes from but I wouldn't be surprised if it was.

I believe they're roughly the same size.
Most AC figures are around 19 centimeters tall at 1/72 scale so that's about 13.68 meters tall I think. That's about 45.144 feet tall, about the same size as Gundam.

Not... quite. About being the same size as a Gundam, I mean. Typically Gundams range between 18 to 20 meters in height, until around Victory Gundam in the U.C. era. THEN ACs and Gundams begin matching up, but Gundams are still taller, with the Victory Gundam being 15.2 meters in height.

Either way, ACs and Gundams and swat Knightmare Frames around like they're nothing. MTs can do it too, most likely.

... and now I suddenly get the idea of Knightmare Frame development eventually leading to Muscle Tracer development, which leads to Armored Core development...

Turn Sixteen: Reflections is up for Code Geass: Dirge of Daedalus.

In this Chapter: Evita gets told "That'll be a NO" by Nunnally, Enoch recognizes Kallen's hawwwtness, Lelouch comes out of the Closet, Tohdoh and Xingke have another chat, Akira and the gang get reassigned, and Jason dines on darkness.

Well, about the knightmares, they're just the successors of a old mecha class used on a couple of videogames, the "power dolls".

same mechanic, same cockpits on the back and external from the robot chest, pilot use a bike position, same design, same body size, etc...

Unfortunately, the game is very old and to find the meka desing (like proof) isn't easy:

I've seen many fanfics in the past. This is one of the few that I actually find to be real good. Guess the amount of reviews it has reflects that.
