The arc wrapped up a bit earlier than expected but that's great! A new arc just in time for the 10th Anniversary! But will it be the Skill Out Arc or will it push ahead to previously unadapted material (Terra of the Left)?

im to...90% sure it will be skill-out arc but who knows, maybe they will jump over it and give us new content

Do you guys think they'll cover the SS plot in the manga that the anime sort of haphazardly skipped? That'd be nice. This seems like good news. I really hope we finally get to see some shiage...

@Levelseven how do you even think the translation is near the raws? There have been new chapters posted with screenshots from plot 40 chapters after current English manga arc, like lol.

Depends on what content is "irrelevant".

Shiage is a must so the first SS which technically 13.5 will have to be adapted. SS2 on the other hand won't because it jumps back and forth a lot in the time line of the series.

So it will be
SS1 then go with OT14 so OT15 will make sense.

Yeah, there's not much of a point to that anytime soon. Hamazura getting that character development seems necessary though. Maybe he'll actually get some love since he got that cameo in the railgun manga... maybe it's too much to hope for though that they'll fill in the plot holes...

Skill-Out Arc. They're adapting Volume SS. Which they kinda need to do so they can finish the setup for the rest of the GRS Arc (looking at you Hamazura).

It's titled Before the Outbreak of War. (Same title as Index II Episode 23)

It covers the conversation between Acqua and Terra at the end of OT13 (we see a Terra cameo) and Volume SS up to the end of Chapter 1 i.e. the dinner party with Kamijou's class.

Seem's like that's a fair estimate. Mine goes something like this:
117-8: Chapter 2 - VS Komaba Ritoku
119: Chapter 3 - Necessarius Women's Dorm
120-1: Chapter 4 + Epilogue: VS Hamazura

Thus wrapping up the anime adapted story arcs just in time for the Dengeki Bunko Autumn Festival......
